“If justice does not exist, it must be created.” In 1997, Isabel Mora was raped by a psychopath from a wealthy family. After spending sixteen years behind bars, thanks to the decision of the ECHR, the rapist Juan Lopez de Aro is released. Isabelle now works as a police detective, and Juan is filled with revenge for the one who sent him to prison. Meanwhile, someone in a monkey costume kills one amnesty criminal after another. While the police are busy catching the “people’s avenger”, Isabel is subjected to harsh gaslighting. This is a whole strategy of powerful psychological pressure, consisting of a group of various techniques aimed at depressurizing a person’s personality, weakening his will and self-confidence. This is a powerful combination of manipulations that leads to the destruction of the psyche and personality of a person. Demonstration of how the manipulator torments his victim, creates a cheerful nervous atmosphere of the series, which should be good thrillers. With each new series, Isabel’s life is falling downhill faster: relatives and colleagues accuse the girl of absent-mindedness and forgetfulness, the investigation is catastrophically slow, the mountain of corpses grows, and reporters begin to pour salt on the psychological wound that Isabel tried so hard to forget, immersed in the work of a cop.
The pretty actress Adriana Ugarte (Isabelle) has a very lively facial expression, she constantly portrays strong emotions and experiences, getting used to the role of a nervous traumatized girl who constantly “hurts” loved ones with her sharp tongue. Her mother, Andre, a longtime psychiatrist who believes that even the most hardened criminal deserves a second chance, enters into an unhealthy relationship with one of her patients. And her daughter Saul tries to break out of control and overprotection, trying to prove that at sixteen she is already an adult and deserves a personal life. Her partner Nieto is a man with principles, in love with Isabelle, but at the same time he is working with an unscrupulous reporter, played by the beautiful Italian actress Patricia Vico. The actors play very emotionally, but there is no atmosphere of “permanent scandal”, as in many Russian TV series. Although Nieto and Isabel are constantly fighting. In general, the series looks easy, the series are swallowed one after another, but the ending was pumped up - quite predictable.
