How far from the truth of life Another melodrama by Irina Gromozda with Peter Rykov in the title role strikes with stamping and dull predictability.
Simple as five kopecks, the main character Katya (Helena Borozinets) considers herself quite happy in her legal marriage. Husband Andrei (Vitaly Kudryavtsev) easily and gambling cheats on her (what a fresh solution!) best friend Inna, in the process of which, in fact, dies in a car accident. And here begins the "heroic actions" of Katya on the subject of saving her friend. As a result, the betrayal is revealed... There is also a very harActor mother-in-law in the plot, very dynamically moving the plot and a completely uncharacteristic violinist with a world name, successfully completing this plot.
The director of Thunderbird has many such stories - she loves melodrama. But this love does not coincide with the love of the audience. She loves to shoot textured, organic and charismatic Peter Rykov. Why? – it is clear: he has many fans and fans who will watch the film in any way – only for the sake of watching his beloved handsome. So the motivations of the director are initially clear. But that’s why the actor, already quite popular and, as he assures, received the right to choose projects, accepts such squalid offers – it is completely unclear. Although, what am I - acting, primarily work and if the role is well paid, why not? This is the only argument I will accept. Because there is nothing else to catch in the film or in the role.
Another point is very surprising: understanding the delicacy of Rykov’s texture and charisma, the director constantly places his character in “atypical” circumstances. I mean, he's constantly rejected. Moreover, the heroines, with external data of Elena Borozinets, Daria Plakhtiy, Alena Konstantinova and similar “gray mice”. That is, girls whom Rykov himself in real life will not even look at. And when you see this actor on the screen, looking for the gaze of such a heroine with the trembling of a yard dog (well, take me!), you clearly understand the full nature of the situation and its incredible remoteness from the truth of life.
However, the whole plot of “Faithful Friends” is very far from this life truth, although it is filled with templates to the point of failure. All this is very annoying and very tiresome. Directly, to the desire to throw further acquaintance even with the filmography of our beloved Petrusha.
