The world in which we live can be at the same time beautiful, terrible, wild. The film turned out to be quite gloomy, heavy and tough - New York (shot during the pandemic)
Moises Sanchez flooded the film with some unearthly light jazz fusion.
I don’t remember the main actress from other films, although she played in many TV series like FBI: The most wanted criminals, but there are many actors filmed and you will not remember everyone, in this film it of course reveals and conveys to us the inner world of a person who has a sick mother (dementia, Alzheimer ... did not understand) and a cruel father.
The main character Dietrich Teshner, known primarily to viewers (of another continent) as the director of the beautiful documentary Headwaters Down about a canoe trip along an unpredictable river, also seems to be a famous actor, but the wide audience is not tired.
I don’t support the common synopsis that, like, she fell in love with the killer she hired... she has to choose between turning him in and finishing the story... or, like, hiring him to crack down on Phil...
Here is rather a story about how in the most difficult circumstances of life, a subjectively correct line of behavior is built and this (once again) tells us that waves come from a small stone, and the World in which we live can be at the same time beautiful, terrible, wild or not.
