Stuttering obsessive investigator Gosh (Kutsenko, aha) and the newcomer young Moscow opera of advanced views Vadik (Kirill Saprykin, whom you probably know as Ivana Edeshko from the Up Movement), who dreams of actually doing stand-up, investigate the disappearance of the corpse of a webcam model from the morgue in the city of three revolutions and white nights.
No, well, I have a project title on my hand - I had to look. Since this combination of numbers is probably still associated not only with the year of the birth of St. Petersburg, but also with the once popular bar that hosted many battle rap fights, the project itself can perhaps be widely described as a kind of Versus, a challenge primarily on the most disgusting secondary character. We don’t even take third-rate ones – there is sodomy. With the task of placing the main characters in a kind of kunstkamera, the authors really cope perfectly. Here we have a corrupt nervous head of the department Vasya Rogov (well, Fedortsov), here spoiled bride-dominatrix Sophia Lebedeva (remember, Khaev cheated on her wife in the former). Here, then, a direct greeting to the battles in the face of not the most talented of their representative Mixi, the legends of Peter in the presentation of which opens each episode. Charlotte was brought in for a while - she philosophizes about sex with dolphins and, as she knows, covers Letov. You can not list all - real stand-ups, sportsmen, even traditionally beautiful in her small episodes Rosa Khayrullina looked at the light.
In addition to the cabbage freaks, the project, in fairness, has its own visual (and not only) aesthetics. The action takes place mainly at night and, especially considering the fact that the show was filmed from April to July, it did a great job with light and color. The picture is perfectly saturated for modern noir, motion design in the form of fonts and other small chips at the level, the narrative structure of the series is thought out in most cases quite intelligently, well, Kutsenko Bulanov, who constantly plays in the hero’s car, is an obvious greeting to the criminal St. Petersburg classics according to Kivinov.
I would call two unsuccessful moments in the series, the first of which is the timing of each individual series. I would venture to suppose that in the form of a kind of black sitcom with episodes of half an hour instead of an hour, or at best forty-five minutes, all this would look much more cheerful, jokes, among which there is one lucky one, would be slightly less annoying, and the figure of Captain Obvious would appear less convex. That is, as mentioned above, Peter is a city of all kinds of debauchery. Well, you guys are original, of course, you are good!
The second disadvantage is a criminal plot, poorly glued to the authentic general atmosphere. For a while, you even get sucked into it, then, like a burdock, you are led to the pre-final cliffhanger, and in the denouement you are again replaced by logic for psychedelics and revered with some occultism with curts towards the “widely closed” Kubrick and, of course, the strange amusements of the great Emperor Peter Alekseevich. Let’s say, but there was something about the investigation, the motives of the criminals may have some, right?
An extremely unusual series about how a young Moscow opera, who dreams of becoming a stand-up artist, comes to St. Petersburg to his bride and is paired with a burned St. Petersburg opera, and they together, ice and flame, investigate the case of kidnapping the corpses of young girls from the morgue.
According to the first series, it seemed that it would be a deliberate black woman with drug addicts, transgender people, bottom, police corruption and other charms. Remember when platforms first appeared, their main advantage was that you can do things that you can’t do on television? And the filmmakers broke down to do the previously forbidden so zealously that many of their crafts looked as if all their dignity was that they had something that was previously impossible - swearing, smoking, drinking, taking drugs, showing corruption and pedophilia, pissing, shitting, killing children and swearing. Yeah. I swear twice, because now without the mat, it's like I haven't made a movie. And all this stuff fits into one movie or series. Thank God, this period of children’s protest seems to have subsided and the platforms learned to do not the forbidden, but the good. And here it is as if all this here again decided to stick in one series. Particularly vomited by a certain singer Charlotte, who with a sympathetic voiceball brought out Letov's songs under the guitar.
In general, the beginning of optimism did not inspire. Especially since the plot seemed ridiculous and sucked out of the finger. An opera hipster from Moscow in gloomy St. Petersburg looked absolutely idiotic. But he overpowered himself and began to look further. And the further it went, the more interesting it became. The plot did not get better, but people began to sprout from the masks. The film was cobasil from noir to black, from comedy to grotesque and even comics, but the adventures of this crazy couple was damn interesting to watch. All the characters in the series were incredibly alive, and the main character was the City, which is always night. Even when the plot of the wedding, scheduled for 4 hours, there is still night. And the fact that the series repeatedly fell into some kind of psychedelic with visions and absurdity, it did not spoil it very much. In short, a contender for a rare score of 8, if not higher, emerged clearly.
But then the last episode happened and the mirage melted away. It turned out that the film has a story, but no plot. It was made for itself, the film for the film. The creators did not bother to give their child a complete form. And this is not even a story without end, but a story that did not end, blurring the ending with ridiculous hallucinations. Explained a lot of things. It’s a movie about a movie, which I rarely watch, because 99 percent of the time it’s just the actors and the crew talking enthusiastically about how cool it was to make that movie. But then I decided to try to understand why they did this with their film. And, in fact, everything fell into place.
The script was written by a young screenwriter Denis Artamonov, for whom it was the first serious work. The guy tried his best to show his talent, rewrote the script right along the way, sometimes right on the set, bringing madness to the shooting process. The fact that he does not understand shit about the specifics of the work of the police and stupidly does not know how everything is arranged there, is easily attributed to the convention of history. It's not about the police. It's about the City. It's about people.
And the guy proved that he was really talented. The film has a chic atmosphere, style (albeit not always kept the bar). There are the most luxurious characters and dialogues from which life oozes, even the songs of Tanya Bulanova, the cassette with which is always ringed in the tape tape of the Goshi cop, in the box office. And there's a strung string of conflict before it rings. The hero Kutsenko is magnificent in his tear, in his unsputtered tragedy, who lost his wife, brother, son, himself and time. “Yes, we were so bad, but you’re shit!” he tells violent children, who have grown up beautiful, successful girls who know how to hit the sickest. That's just why the older comrades did not tell the young talented screenwriter that the real skill is to be able to complete the story, and not to smear a painting brush on a beautiful picture, they say, okay, it's time to finish? Other people on the team are obese. I don't have an answer. The series had every chance to become excellent, and it turned out the maximum “look interesting”.
So sorry...
Review of the first series. In short, it's not. There are many films about stickers and stoners, interesting as a cinematic work. There the heroes have characters, the logic of action and actions. Here are the conventional types from the script sketch, from the synopsis. Hero #1: Muscovite means to dress him as if he is participating in a show of hipster fashion. Hero No. 2 - a hard cop - means rude and crazy in a leather jacket.
I have met people who masterfully and wittyly use mate in conversation. There's a mate in this movie, alas, it's a stupid curse here, aha.
But the color was made, like Fincher in “Seven”, gloomy tones, dim light with bright color spots. Beautiful, but why? If you wanted to create a fantastic world of noir comics, then why introduce real characters (standupers of all kinds, yes musicians)? The film is too conventional to take it as a serious deep story and too boring for a fairy tale. Oh, yeah, we promised a comedy! No kidding. Not one.
If you want a funny Peter series, watch Poor People.
Usually, rating series about police officers tell frankly boring stories in which nothing interesting happens. Here or another fight against drug trafficking or investigation of bank robbery. Everything is so typical and boring. Imagine someone stealing corpses from the morgue at night. That's a whole other thing. For some reason, we did not shoot such series until recently, as if we were afraid of something. But "1703" makes a dashing run through the most unusual places and police cases, where there is no such thing as "taboo" and this he bribes.
So, please meet Vadik, an investigator from Moscow who now works in St. Petersburg. Here he has a fiancée Masha and big plans for it. To become a professional stand-up. Vadik refuses to eat meat, listens to music with headphones, does not part with his notebook and generally looks like a cute guy who will not hurt flies. And now imagine that his partner becomes a formidable Gosha Kolpakov with a brilliant baldness and an absolute lack of politeness. This is where the most interesting part of this series begins.
Not only does Vadik still have to settle into a new city and understand its atmosphere, but he also needs to go to the morgue on his first official night and investigate the abduction of corpses. This case is not easy, because the raid was made by masked guys and they fled in an unknown direction. But the investigators have a lead – the girl whose body was stolen, worked in the salon of erotic Internet models, and just here you can find a lot of interesting things, including Rodion, Goshi’s own son, who, as you can understand, chose not the path that his formidable father.
There are a lot of characters and all sorts of nuances in the series, which are revealed throughout the chapters (yes, there are chapters, not series!). The difficult relationship between Rodion and Gosha is getting its logical development, and although father and son for a long time actually hated each other, we see that they are still close people. When Rhoda is in danger, Dad doesn't think for a second of going to save him. There can be no principles here - you need to protect your blood.
No less interesting storyline unfolds around Vadik. He is in a new city, with strangers, a complicated partner and a fiancée who seeks to change his habits for herself. Of course, Vadik, for all his demonstrative naivety, will try to show that he is a real man. But what will come out of it, you will know better yourself.
As for the case itself and who is behind the theft of the bodies, there were some unexpected moments for me. The intrigue holds until the end, the culprits were not those on whom my suspicion fell at first. So connoisseurs of real detectives will definitely have something to scratch their heads over.
Bottom line: 1703 is a character series you should definitely watch. Do not look for analogues because they simply do not exist. The series has everything to ensure that you watch it from beginning to end, and the ratings of course will be high.

To survive in Peter, you have to make friends with him.
Did you know that once in St. Petersburg there was a real kunstkamera, where, at the behest of Emperor Peter, the most amazing and terrible people from all around were taken? And in this city there is a bridge that does not let its guests go so easily, and if you decide to walk along it, you put your fate on the line. And in St. Petersburg once worked the most famous alchemist of Holland and only the walls of the local dungeon know how many souls he killed. As you can see, Peter lives legends, and we will reveal one of them for ourselves thanks to the series “1703” with Gosha Kutsenko and Kuzma Saprykin in the lead roles.
Peter attracts people who want to express their inner world and show that they are not at all as simple as ordinary people see them. After sunset, Peter is radically transformed and does not look as carefree and quiet place as it appeared to us in the light of day. At night, different things happen here, and new legends arise here just under the cover of darkness.
In the city morgue, there was a stir: someone stole the body of Jeanne, an erotic model. The investigation believes that both Satanists and all kinds of perverts can be involved in the crime. Now it is time for these theories to be thoroughly tested, and this will be done by Gosha and Vadik, the St. Petersburg and Moscow opera, who now work in pairs. But because they are very different, it will be difficult for them to achieve harmony and mutual understanding.
I really liked the series. Now, after all eight episodes, I can say that ours gave a real class and set a very high artistic bar for all their colleagues. 1703 is not a typical police detective series. This is much more than just another opera story. There are visions of something irrational, and a real black comedy, and even melodrama. The plot itself is built around two investigators who constantly get into conflicts, quarrel with each other and with everyone around, but at the same time these are the guys on the board with whom I was interested throughout the season.
Kuzma Saprykin was not particularly interesting to me before. He seemed like an ordinary, unmemorable actor, but 1703 revealed him in a very unusual way. His hero, Vadik, of course, with the appearance of simpletons, but towards the end of the story he begins to mother and so simply himself will not be offended. And when he comes out on the real trail of the body thieves, he just can not stop. In Vadika, excitement wakes up and you literally feel it on yourself.
I also liked Gosha Kutsenko, although he's kind of playing a cop again. But it's not like it used to be. In general, Gosha Kolpakov, the hero of Kutsenko, a real find for the series. Maybe in the first series he looks a little rough and repulsive, but over time we get to know him, and somewhere even begin to regret. However, Kutsenko is too cool for this. This will be confirmed more than once.
The show turned out great. On the one hand, it is a noir-detective comedy, on the other hand, it is a full-fledged story that can be divided into series, and watched in one sitting, like a film broken into parts. The story gave me a lot of emotions that you must pass through yourself. Such series are now a huge rarity.
For the sake of interest, I wanted to watch the series “1703” with the participation of Gosha Kutsenko and Kuzma Saprykin. After all, they are very interesting actors who usually choose only high-quality work. In addition, the director here was Sergey Sentsov, known for “Hotel “Russia” and “Red bracelets”, the ratings of which speak for themselves. As you can see, the series with such key faces I definitely did not want to miss and everything came out in the best possible way. “1703” instantly takes you to the night Peter, and no matter how strange it was there, but you do not want to leave it at all.
The main events of the series tell us about the investigation of the case related to the stolen corpses of girls from the St. Petersburg morgue. The body of an erotic webcam model was stolen for the first time. It seemed that this was an isolated incident, but then the gang breaks into the morgue again, and after a while repeats its crime. And since this is the territory assigned to the department of Lieutenant Colonel Porphyrin, he has to send one of his most experienced operas, Gosh Kolpakov.
You can find a common language with him only if you like to listen to Tanya Bulanova’s songs all day long, turn off calls on your mobile phone and do not ask unnecessary questions, especially of a personal nature. Yes, Gosha is not a very friendly guy, but as a police officer he knows his job well. In a couple, he is assigned “Moscow”, a young operative from the capital. Vadik thought Peter would greet him warmly, but he was very wrong.
Not only does the boy have to deal with bandits, murderers and lechers every night shift, so Gosha Kolpakov will never miss an opportunity to laugh at him. But if you want to be a police officer, you have to be patient. Yes, and when at home you are waiting for the charming bride Masha, then everything actually goes quite well.
In this series, the main characters and how the authors present them to us are very important. I think that if other actors played here instead of Gosha Kutsenko and Kuzma Saprykin, I would definitely not like 1703 so much. The investigation of the abduction of corpses of course has a major impact on the plot as a whole, but it was very important for me to get to know the characters better, to feel their problems and understand who they really are and what they breathe.
Gosha makes sense. He's an operative with experience, he's seen all sorts of things, and it didn't have the best impact. But is he bad? Not at all. Just eccentric and specific. But Vadik on arrival in St. Petersburg is in constant throwing between Masha and Aurora, police service and stand-up, shawarma (oh, sorry - shaverma) and veganism. He certainly did not prepare for this when he was transferred to Peter.
So the show came out sparkling and I'm so impatient to finally reveal all the secrets of this story. Everything that brings us to the end was just great. You have never seen this before, I guarantee it.

Recently, the premiere of the series “1703” took place on our screens, which in my opinion is one of the best in its genre. Here I like everything from a wonderful cast to an interesting plot with various investigations that have to lead a couple of police partners in the night St. Petersburg. The series turned out to be bold, ironic and not shy to flirt with difficult topics, which are usually not in a hurry to talk out loud. And this automatically warms up interest in the story.
Now let's get to know the heroes. Gosha Kutsenko is the same Gosha Kolpakov. It is great that the hero was chosen the same name as the actor. In some places it is even thought that in many ways Comrade Captain was written off from Kutsenko himself, from how colorful the image turned out. So Gosha loves his dark blue Subaru, and even more crazy about Bulanova’s tracks. He is generally tired of his everyday life, devoid of bright colors, but he does not want to abandon the service. The best part was that he could do his job without a partner. But it was until today, more precisely at night.
The lieutenant colonel puts Vadik from Moscow to him and says that you will all work together. And so that the partners do not have to be bored, they are sent straight to the morgue! But not to chill out there, but to investigate the theft of corpses! It turns out that in St. Petersburg and this has its price, and Vadik from this is really in shock, which can not be said about Gosha, who is probably nothing in this life will not surprise.
As you can see, the plot of the series is very interesting, but the beauty here will be further. Of course, the investigation itself is interesting and it moves forward throughout the season. True, even for Gosha, this turned out to be a big problem, because all his guesses are constantly broken to dust, and therefore sometimes you just want to take, and open a bottle of whiskey or cognac, knock Bulanova full and banal forget.
Very funny came up here and with stand-up, which is so fond of Vadik. He constantly writes new stories in a notebook and foolishly talks about his working moments from the stage, which led to many jokes and not the easiest conversations with both his beloved girl and Gosha, who is not used to taking out extra information outside the service. So Vadik got hit, more than once. But at the same time, he notices that Gosha misses him, and actually helps the investigation in the most critical moments. So he's definitely not a bum!
"1703" as took a high start, and does not slow down its pace. For me, it was like a full-length movie. It is very good that the authors chose this format and pleased us with the selected content that pleases you every new chapter.

It is not easy to shoot a truly intriguing detective series that withstands serious intrigue and makes you look forward to each new episode. We have seen a lot of these series recently and managed to get tired. However, Sergey Sentsov succeeded. The series 1703, which he directed, turned out to be a real revelation in the noir style and I am looking forward to seeing how this extraordinary story will end. In the meantime, the series itself and its strengths need to be discussed separately.
This is the story of two police officers who investigate at night all over Peter. Some unknown guys stole a girl's body from the morgue. It turns out that she worked during her lifetime as an erotic model on the Internet and died clearly not by his death. But who wants a beautiful corpse? They may be psychopaths or Satanists. The first thing the opera must do is talk to those who knew the deceased directly to find the most important clues, but then an even more unexpected turn occurs. On one model, criminals are definitely not going to stop. They conducted a couple of so-called “raids”, and for the third time the investigators are already beginning to lose their nerves, because this is not a joke!
Now I want to talk about the main characters. Gosha Kutsenko plays an opera named... Gosha and it's pretty funny. As Kutsenko himself has repeatedly said, he played a lot of police officers and detectives during his career. At first he doubted whether to play Captain Kolpakov, but after reading the script, he was convinced that Sergey Sentsov and Ko know exactly what to do. The hero came out interesting, and this is still poorly said. Thanks to Gaucher, Tatiana Bulanova is constantly playing in my head, and I will not say that this is bad. Her work hooked me again, I even want to download a couple of tracks. And Gosha is a fan of boxing at three o'clock in the morning for the "joy" of the neighbors and that still gloomy cheerful. It's not like he's been joking lately. The Internal Affairs Department is on its heels and even taking over his son, which can lead to very bad results. However, it is not necessary to be sad before the time.
Kuzma Saprykin looks very cool in a pair with Kutsenko. Now I can’t imagine anyone else in his place. The boy traded Moscow for St. Petersburg for the opportunity to be close to his beloved, but Peter bothered him completely. There are fatal beauties, and two-meter ambals, and corpses from the morgue steal. This is not Moscow, where everything is according to the rules. Peter sets the laws of his life, and our hero has to understand and accept it. Otherwise, even a policeman cannot survive in Peter.
I love the pace of the story and how the main characters communicate. Kutsenko can easily give a fist, break a finger. That's his temper. Well, Saprykin, despite his calm appearance and inexperience, also tries to perform his work perfectly. Even when he is thrown into a newly dug hole, there is no doubt that he will come back and give him more heat! Or at least for him it will do a harsh Gosha, who even if not delighted with a partner, but not in a hurry to give him offense.
The series is worth watching. In 1703 we see an unusual detective and it has many strengths that you have to discover yourself. I advise you to look at this story if possible and something tells me that you will appreciate it as highly as I do.

St. Petersburg is not an ordinary city, but the cradle of three revolutions that changed our country forever. In addition, it is the cultural capital of Russia and a place where both unique creative personalities and psychopaths flock from everywhere, who want to express themselves through actions that can not always be assessed by a sober mind. If they cross the boundaries of the law, then it is quite natural for the police to take them. And in Peter it is as unusual as everything else. You can definitely believe me here.
Of course, the young operative Vadik heard all sorts of things about Peter when he bought tickets here. He was very comfortable in his native Moscow. Dad could have promoted him, he knew the city well, and he could breathe there. But with Vadik happened love, which struck his heart along with the smile of Masha, and now he threw everything he knew, found himself in St. Petersburg and began to know him so closely that inevitably it becomes frightening! Maybe even funny. Probably one and the other.
In St. Petersburg, Vadik’s partner was Gosha, a typical St. Petersburg opera, from which one should not expect a smile. Gosha is on his mind and listens only to the lieutenant colonel, and then again. What can we say about the Muscovite Vadik, who not only behaves as a stranger, and on operational work behaves like a rookie. Nevertheless, disputes are disputes, and a new case should be investigated, especially since it looks very intriguing and not as simple as it might seem at first glance.
The thing is that from the morgue missing body of Jeanne, webcam model and niece of a local priest. It is impossible to leave this without attention, but then everything interesting begins. Gosha and Vadik are on the trail of the kidnappers and step by step approach the solution of the crime. A variety of people are under suspicion, including the former chief of Jeanne, the Egyptian, but something constantly escapes the attention of operas, and therefore the investigation is delayed, the colors thicken and you have to take constant risks. Finally, even Krishna, the maniac surgeon who reminded me of Mark Dakasokos in the third Joa Wick, falls under suspicion. This guy clearly knows something, and talking to him will be difficult. But work with work, and life also goes on as usual and this is a great reason for the heroes to get to know each other better, and at the same time to amuse us.
Since Gosha and Vadik are very different, they will quarrel, and a lot. And their joint dinner with the girls will turn into very funny revelations and unexpected acquaintances. What only one black Mia is worth, a new friend of Goshi, who herself does not really know who he is. But even after a friendly dinner, the partners are not going well. Even to the point that Vadik just wants to leave the service, because Peter was too tough for him. But before the time of the plot, he definitely will not leave, and Gaucher, despite all his severity, needs a guy over whom you can make a good joke, especially when the person of the captain was interested in one too meticulous inspector of internal service. And here is Vadik just out of competition!
The series is really cool. We didn’t even expect to be able to do something like that. In spirit, it is noir in the style of the night marginal Peter, and the soul of the series is light and companion, not devoid of a note of ironic black comedy. This is the real topic!
I immediately found this series very interesting. Look for yourself, he has an unusual and very colorful trailer with a subtle voice Kutsenko and non-standard noir style. Then I was interested in the cast. The same Kutsenko, Kuzma Saprykin and Andrey Fedortsov by their appearance in the frame aroused considerable interest in me. Finally, the fact that all the action takes place in the night shift, and this is already a color and something non-standard. So the series immediately intrigued me and I do not regret that I had to plunge into it with my head.
In the first series, we get acquainted with all the key characters of this story. One of them is Vadik, a Moscow policeman who could build a successful career in the capital thanks to his connections, but decided to move to St. Petersburg with his fiancée Masha. Vadik is extremely sweet, intelligent and at first it was very difficult for me to imagine him on an operational mission. He even creaks the door and shoots at random! But in general, the guy certainly does not miss and he will still have a chance to prove himself.
The second is Gosha Kolpakov, an eccentric investigator with vast life experience. As Kutsenko’s hero rightly put it, all that separates him from the desire to hit Bulanova at full and accelerate the car to 200 kilometers per hour is police excitement. So long as Gaucher cares about what is happening on the streets of night Peter, he will do his job and all criminals need to strain well, because the captain does not like to talk much. It is very fast and uncompromising.
I also really liked the tough and fussy lieutenant colonel played by Andrei Fedortsov. He's having trouble going to the toilet all the time, and he's pretty good at it. And then a young opera Vadik from the capital came and you do not know how to behave with him – what if he is from the Internal Investigation Department and only pretends to be a simpleton?! In short, the lieutenant colonel has enough problems, and here it is his department tasked with investigating the disappearance of a corpse from the morgue. And there is no limit to one body here.
As you can guess, our two heroes, Gosha and Vadik, take up the investigation. Jumping into the car to the captain of "Moscow" must understand that it will not be easy for him now for sure. The phone cannot be turned on, arguing is even more forbidden. And in general, here is the most important Gosha, and ahead of a lot of meetings and dangerous situations that could only happen in St. Petersburg, and in the middle of the night.
It was an interesting show. In addition to the main investigation, which leads the characters, we also present their life, reveal the past and hint what awaits the guys in the near future. But if Vadik is determined to marry Masha, then Gaucher will continue to beat a pear at night and annoy the neighbors. But who knows, and if everything changes?
It's still a great series. There was definitely no passing series here. Heroes continue to please, the soundtrack with tracks Bulanova firmly settled in my head and in general it is interesting to see what will happen here in the future series.

Being on duty at night is a thankless affair. I know exactly what that is. At one time, I had to work in security and patrol a huge area every night. During the day, everything was quiet and calm, but as soon as the sun went into sunset, then suddenly out of nowhere appeared whole crowds of strange personalities who wanted to get rid of as soon as possible. Imagine what it would be like for the police to deal with them and drag them to the police station for questioning. In general, they definitely do not envy, and this is what we see in the new series “1703”, which in all colors shows us what happens at night on the streets of the big city.
Opera Gosha used to work at night. During the day, he is completely asleep, but at night he starts his old Subaru and goes to travel around the city, investigating the strangest and most dangerous cases. In the work, Gosh finds a complete outlet, since his wife cheated on him with a loved one, son Rodion does not understand what he is doing, and there is no great joy in sitting in a cold apartment alone. In principle, Gosha has already got used to life and work, where he is essentially his own boss, but one not the most pleasant night he is assigned a partner Vadim, with which the whole story begins.
Unlike the depressed Goshi, Vadik is full of energy and strength. He is a police officer, but at the same time he dreams of stand-up. In addition, he has a bride Masha, a real beauty, and here he even met her parents, although the meeting was not as smooth as we would like. In general, Vadik has plans for the sea and he is in a hurry to share them with his new partner, although Gaucher, in truth, all this is not very interesting. But still the heroes have to work together every night shift and in the end it even came to the fact that Masha invited the partner of the groom home for dinner, and then there was a big laugh!
The main thing that our heroes are doing is searching for those guilty of stealing bodies from the St. Petersburg morgue. The first was stolen the body of the webcam model Zhanna, among other things, the niece of the father himself, an important church cone. No one could think that this could happen again, but the bodies again began to disappear from the refrigerators, and then the partners have to speed up, or the authorities are waiting for results that are not yet there and there are no results.
"1703" perfectly combines several genres. First of all, it is a great detective in the noir style. Everything is filmed according to the classical canons and very even atmospheric. 1703 is a black comedy that is really fun. Maybe humor is too rough in some places, but it is worth admitting that it perfectly adapts to the main story. And do not forget that the series is actually an adult and designed for the appropriate audience.
I am interested in returning with Gosha and Vadim to St. Petersburg at night and investigating one of the most mysterious cases imaginable. And even if Peter is not in the teeth, we will still cope with him.

If you choose to watch a new movie or series, I will definitely stop at the second option. Well, look for yourself, to shoot a full-length film, the authors need to fit themselves under strict limits, cut out interesting things from the script to get into the right timing. This leads to the fact that viewers lose a lot of fascinating moments, and the story itself often looks unfinished and superficial. But in the format of the series, you can easily implement all your ideas and ideas as you originally wanted. And I’m very happy that “1703” has become a series, because in one season we see a whole bunch of extraordinary stories and investigation, which is carried away with the head.
The plot of the series unfolds in St. Petersburg, where a young operative Vadik comes with his dreams from Moscow. First of all, he wants to propose to his girlfriend, but first he needs to get a foothold in the office of Lieutenant Colonel Porphyrin. The same, in turn, believes that Vadik is a “sent Cossack”, who must find all the punctures of local police, and therefore puts the trusted captain Gosh Kolpakov as partners to Vadik. Well, then the guys go on their first joint task, which will be the most unusual.
The morgue is in turmoil. Someone broke in and stole the body of a young webcam model. And why it was done and why – the main task of the investigation, which takes Vadik and Gosha. Now they need to not only talk to the girl’s employers, the Egyptian, but also run around the cemetery for a couple with a priest, visit a couple of local bars and even talk heart-to-heart with a charming woman-vamp, which could not be played by any other actress except Evelina Bledans.
Yes, it is very difficult to surprise me, but “1703” from the very first series begins to light up and the flame of intrigue does not even think to fade. The first thing that catches the series is its main characters, partners, who are as different from each other in character as possible. Vadik is a vegan, wants to shine on the comedy scene and in general Peter is a completely foreign city for him. It's more complicated for Goshi. He has been married for 20 years, his son wants to change sex, and cynicism has become his second mother tongue. So it is generally unclear how these two can sit in the same car, but still they somehow manage to find a common language, albeit not always.
The main investigation of the hero is the search for criminals who steal the bodies. But at the same time, here we see many side storylines with interesting and memorable characters. The same Evelina Bledans from the third series I immediately remembered. By the way, she rightly noted that with the hero Kutsenko she could have an affair. What a pleasure to see Pierre Narcisse for the last time. This is a bit daring, but definitely worth a cameo.
In general, the series “1703” was one of the most interesting premieres of recent times. Still very cool, when we can ride on the night Peter without leaving your house and learn about it much more interesting than from the news or newspaper reports.

I have a weakness for action detective stories about police partners. I love watching two guys risk their lives to solve the toughest crimes, and no matter what their differences, they gradually become the best of friends. Lethal Weapon, 48 Hours, and even Killing Power – I try not to miss any really interesting movie or TV series on the subject. So it makes sense that I was interested in 1703 and now I have something to share with you.
Arriving on his battered bike to the police station, Opera Gosha immediately ran into his new partners Gosha Kolpakov. The meeting somehow did not set, but then the guys find themselves in one “Subaru” and go on an operational mission with a special degree of importance. According to the morgue, some guys broke in, stole the girl’s body and fled to an unknown destination. But it's not over. This happens again, and it becomes clear that there is a Satanic cult in the city. At least everything hints at that. But Gosha is in no hurry to draw conclusions. With his experience, he understands that not everything is so clear here, and therefore his Subaru will have to wind many more kilometers before the whole truth is revealed.
In this series, the atmosphere immediately captivated me. That's what you say, and no other series such noir gloom to boast, which is also diluted with selective black comedy. It is very good that our filmmakers decided on such a bold step and shot a series that easily does most of its genre brethren and will definitely arouse interest with each of its subsequent series. No one has ever filmed a colorful night Peter, as it turned out to Sergey Sentsov. But still, style is one thing, and details and meaning are quite another. And believe me, that's all right here, too.
Peter reveals himself in this series as a separate hero. It lives its own life, you will not confuse it with any other city, and the people who inhabit it are special and eccentric. The same Gosha Kolpakov, he is not an ordinary opera at all. He has his own special habits and manner of behavior, which can not be confused with anything. If the music is in the car, then only Bulanova, if you talk to your son, then you can not do without a fist - but this is a separate story, full of drama and unexpected revelations. Gosha himself is well shaded by the young and naive Kuzma Saprykin, who played Vadik. The hero is also gradually revealed, but it is in a pair with Kutsenko that he is especially interesting.
Overall, the series meets all my expectations. It's an interesting story and a detective. In addition to Kutsenko and Saprykin, Mikhail Fomenko, Rosa Khairullina, Evelina Bledans and many other interesting actors also played here. So there are no options, you need to take a look.
I watch a lot of different TV shows, and it’s getting harder to surprise me lately. What we have not seen lately, you can not even list – vampires, time travel, criminal sagas, etc. Therefore, now I try to choose the most interesting projects that are definitely worth paying attention to. One of them was just the TV series “1703”, which turned out to be a very interesting thing that definitely deserves to be talked about in more detail.
The plot of the series takes us to Peter, who, like New York, never sleeps. Here at night all sorts of marginals wander in search of adventure and if you are lucky, then one day on the street you can meet even the real elephant. There’s nothing to be surprised about, because it’s Peter. He lives his own special life, which at least once in his life should feel each of us. But now let’s go back directly to the series itself, which started very cheerfully and I will definitely continue watching.
So, in one of the St. Petersburg police stations in the middle of the night comes on a bicycle modest Vadik. He decided to move from a warm place in Moscow to St. Petersburg, where his fiancée Masha lives. In the department, everyone is on their ears because of this, because there is information that Vadik was transferred here for a reason. His father is a major police officer in the capital and something tells a comrade lieutenant colonel that Vadik will dig up information about the department's employees and it will not end well. The partner of the young man becomes a brutal investigator with the cute name of Gosh. And this extraordinary couple goes forward, on their first joint challenge.
In this series, the biggest beauty is a couple of main characters. Each of them is unique in its own way. At least take Vadik. Yes, he works in the police, but he behaves very modestly, once again does not go into conflict, and his light cloak reminded me of Lieutenant Colombo. Honestly, it is not clear how such a good man got into the organs, but believe me, he is clearly here for a reason and he knows what he is doing.
But Gosha, on the contrary, is harsh to the limit, loves listening to Bulanova's songs and hates mobile phones. It's not easy for him to have a new partner. On the one hand, you want to take it and just strangle it! But on the other hand, the lieutenant colonel strictly forbids this. So we have to get along with our guys in the same shift and in the same car, which is very, very crowded. But there is no doubt that they will soon become friends. We are looking forward to further developments.
The series began very interestingly. It has its own style, its own special, incomparable atmosphere of St. Petersburg noir, as well as humor and really interesting investigations. I think you will love this story as much as I do.

In Russia, 99 percent of all TV shows about the police and now the police were shot, and this is our real pride, which we can happily share with other countries. Honestly, I will not argue with this, since we really have a lot of detective series and the choice is very diverse. But still in all this endless list you can find the most real genre pearls, to which I unscrupulously refer “1703”.
The main characters of the new series are two policemen who seem to live in different worlds. First of all, I want to introduce you to Vadik, an intelligent opera from the capital. In St. Petersburg, he found his beloved girl and decided to move in with her. The city meets Vadik may not be very hospitable, but he already knows exactly where the best burger is and how to quickly get to the registry office, where his beloved Masha works.
But Vadik's partner, Gaucher, has long been tired of everything. He has seen a lot of things in the city and he does not want to introduce annoying young people to the course of things. But how can you argue with your boss? You have to do what they say, but that doesn’t mean Vadika is guaranteed an easy and carefree walk. Gosha will drive him to the most fervent places and show what the harsh St. Petersburg justice is.
The first case of our tandem is an investigation related to the abduction of the body of a young girl from the morgue. Of course, this is not what Vadik dreamed of, and yet he is interested to know who and why did it. Well, in turn, Gosha will show all the local savage bigwigs that it is not a joke for sure bad. In an ideal world, he could break a bandit’s arm, but we don’t live in that. Nevertheless, Gosh intends to achieve his goal anyway, which means that all the most interesting things are just beginning.
The series has a very unusual and attractive aura. All the action takes place exclusively at night, because we can see day Peter in some "Streets of Broken Lanterns" and similar series. Night plays a special role here. It’s like going to another city and seeing Peter’s true face. Perhaps it is too challenging, and yet to follow the developments is very interesting. In addition, there is a great soundtrack and really cool camera work.
For me, 1703 is a great series, which is definitely not confused with anything. Kutsenko and Saprykin formed in every sense a winning tandem and I have no doubt that their new adventures will be as interesting as in the first series.

Having familiarized with the pilot series of the criminal-comedy project 1703, I immediately remembered the phrase “Started for health, and finished for rest”, but not in terms of quality, but in the plot. The first half of the series literally sparkles with black humor, acting reincarnation and a special visual aesthetic, but by the end the story turns into a gloomy-depressive harsh drama with Bulanova’s song “Don’t Cry”. After watching, only an echo of St. Petersburg sadness remains in the tears of very different heroes-partners. The old bald bearded man in a leather coat, personifying the image of the old militia, behaves rudely, quickly and beats immediately between the eyes; and the young and curly in a yellow cloak is a softer, more accommodating and modern policeman with a childlike face. Bright clothes only emphasize his bright sunny image, which they want to break from the first minutes. But the guy turned out to be a staunch tin soldier. He dreams of becoming a stand-up comedian, writes jokes that no one laughs at. The first person to appreciate his humor jumped out the window. It would seem a tragedy, but this is Peter, and black humor is one of the features of this project.
And yet, despite the modest positive aspects, you expect something more from the new series than just vulgar jokes and an ocean of obscene abuse, reinforced by mastodons (dinosaurs) of domestic cinema. No new faces, fresh ideas and visual-technical orgasm. It is difficult to understand what the leaders of the OKKO platform were hooked by this story? What's unique about it? Of all the options offered, is this the best? If the project is so outstanding, why is it not visible in the pilot series? Police procedures about motley partners filmed a great many series in different genres. In addition, playing a callous cop Kutsenko has already personified a similar image in the series “The Last cop”, and the young guy is eager to become a stand-up. Standup? Again? There was a series recently called “My Mother’s Penguins” about a young man dreaming about the stage. Isn’t there anything more original and exciting out of all professions?
In general, in the first series it is quite difficult to draw final conclusions about the potential of the series, so I will give the project a chance to watch the next series. But at the moment, the series has not caught me.
Sometimes we all want to take it, take it somewhere far away, to another city and actually start life from scratch. As they say, in a new place, everything can be different and if the cards converge properly, then life will improve, and with mental balance everything will be fine. So the main character of the new detective series “1703” believed so, but everything did not turn out quite as he wanted and the more interesting to follow his adventures in the night city, where anything can happen.
If we talk about the plot of the series, it tells the story of Vadik, a young police officer with big plans for life. He finally decided and moved to St. Petersburg to his beloved Masha. He was transferred to the police station, given a partner and sent to patrol the streets at night. But Peter is so handsome and at night he is especially good. It would seem, well, this is a life turn that you can only dream about. But everything for Vadik turns upside down literally in the first duty.
I do not doubt that Peter is a beautiful city and at night it is incomparable, but do not forget that in the dark and crime becomes more. Here and the store can easily be robbed, and corpses from the morgue can be stolen. Well, you can't relax here. You need to constantly be fully equipped and not be exposed to a stray blow. And then Gosh’s partner constantly throws out numbers, and this is sometimes much more dangerous than some dressed clown with no idea what in his pockets and even more bad head.
I immediately liked the series. He's nothing like anything. Of course, I love this genre and I have reviewed many films and TV series about police partners, but it is “1703” that stands out from the rest with its no-tower, bold plot, in which neither the hero is the brightest, most memorable person, and every investigation turns into such unexpected consequences that you do not know what to do: you can laugh, and maybe be scared. As you can see, the series causes a lot of emotions and I know for sure that I will watch it further.
I want to say a few words about the actors, namely Gosha Kutsenko and Kuzma Saprykin. These guys are radically different from each other not only in appearance, but also in character. And that's the thing. It's a pleasure watching them. And when they begin to find out between themselves, then black humor and jokes becomes at all, at least extra. These guys made my night. And now we can say that such a funny evening will be many more.
This is how we get the new series "1703". It has all the components of a great detective and black comedy. The first series were very pleased and there are all the makings for the story to develop competently in the future and please us no less than a spectacular introduction.

Every city has its own aura and Peter is no exception. I managed to visit our famous Northern capital a couple of times and this place will forever remain in my heart. It has a unique, fascinating atmosphere. When you walk in the evening through the streets of St. Petersburg, visit themed cafes and corny enjoy the architecture, you literally forget about everything in the world. Imagine what an incredible and special night Peter is! And just about this St. Petersburg and tells us a new ironic comedy series “1703”.
In the center of the plot is a young opera named Vadik, who makes a strong-willed decision and moves to St. Petersburg to his fiancée Masha. The guy rightly believed that in the big city he would have a chance to prove himself, and when you are supported in everything by your beloved girl, it is very cool. But Vadik had no idea what difficulties he would face at work. First of all, a new partner adds problems to him, but in fact this is only the beginning.
Severe, depressed and not the most talkative investigator Gosha Kolpakov was not going to make friends with Vadik, but the authorities said - it is necessary, and therefore there are simply no other options here. Gaucher will have to get used to Vadik and travel around the night city with him to solve the strangest cases you can imagine. And you can be sure that the theft of bodies from the local morgue will not be limited. After all, Peter is a special city and crimes here are not the most ordinary.
This series from the very first series sets a high rhythm of the narrative and immediately hooked me. The authors shot "1703" directly in St. Petersburg, and it is immediately evident. No other city could become the set of this series and it was very important for me during the viewing to plunge headlong into the atmosphere of the city and get to know the main characters who literally fight off the ground with their charisma.
Together with Gosha and Vadik, we go on the first job without much thought, and then it immediately becomes clear that Peter by day and Peter by night are essentially two different cities. All sorts of marginals here at least get rid of, so our opera will show maximum ingenuity to deal with one thing as quickly as possible, to switch to another and not to go crazy in all this whirlwind of crazy life after sunset.
As a result, “1703” is one of the most interesting series in recent times. It is very powerful, and the delicate balance between detective, irony and comedy is sure to appeal to viewers who are looking for something intriguing and non-trivial. Way to go!

Here I really like all sorts of detective series, and if you catch a really worthwhile novelty, I will definitely not miss it. This time, I want to express my thoughts on 1703, an unusual, catchy and daring series starring Gosha Kutsenko and Kuzma Saprykin. It was definitely impossible to pass by such guys and even in such an interesting story, but therefore, let’s now go through the essence to understand what exactly the plot tells about and what its main charm is.
It all begins with the fact that a young policeman named Vadik comes to Peter. Here he has a bride, whom he loves very much, and in general in St. Petersburg Vadik has great career prospects. He is not thinking about one service. The guy has his own special plans and who knows, maybe he can implement them properly. But while Vadik has to establish contact with a partner, which is not as easy as it may seem.
In contrast to the full energy and enthusiasm of Vadik, his partner Kolpakov has seen everything in life, and therefore it is impossible to call him cheerful and social. Kolpakov sees in the new partner only a burden, with which he has to race around the night city and investigate the assigned cases. And although at first the communication between the operas did not quite work out, there is enough time ahead for them to, if they do not make friends, at least learn to tolerate each other.
Here it is very cool that the series is not at all dramatic, but more comedic and very stylish. The whole Peter night atmosphere bought me right away. And since this city is unusual and after the sun goes over the horizon, crowds of freaks come out on the street, who sometimes create all sorts of game, then there is no doubt that colorful jokes and memorable humor will be at least spared.
Yes, sometimes the same cruelty happens on the night streets of Peter, and therefore the new partners have to settle all their differences and act together, or they meet such a people that the hair on the head is on end! And it is clear that without a sense of humor and general irony here is definitely not enough. So our heroes definitely do not have to relax. They still have a lot to do.
Of the new series, 1703 has become one of my favorites. Not enough. What is interesting and fervent, so also has an excellent cast. Gosha Kutsenko and Kuzma Saprykin play their roles simply perfectly. I am completely satisfied, the continuation should be no less bright.
