This spirit is incomprehensible. It's a dream of space. When space became fashionable. When humanity was fascinated by the prospects opening up after the first steps.
That feeling is the whole story. The background also unfolds the usual story of the relationship between adults and children. But it is also an important part of the author’s plan. The constant "warm-up" of history by the mood of anticipation of something unusual, exciting produces musical design - space electronics. Not without echoes of American individualism in the plot - there is a desire for media fame, and a garage startup.
Increasingly, in North American film production, there are motifs of sadness about big meanings. In particular, sadness about the great all-human achievements of which was the conquest of near-earth orbit. So this film perfectly recreates the excitement of society after the first flights.
