3D animation in the service of the people In 2009. The first channel gave us the show “Multiple personality”. Entertainment show, where in a satirical manner exhibited Russian and foreign figures of show business, cinema, sports, politics, etc. And I was a big fan, and at the time of this show, it was a time when I didn't miss a single issue and really thought it was a mega funny show. And also innovative, because nowhere else in the world there was such a program dedicated to cartooning famous personalities. Although now I understand that the test of time the transfer did not pass, because I have mixed impressions of it.
The main thing, of course, plus is a great 3D animation. All the characters are exact copies. The animation is really good. In this regard, to the creators without pretensions. But unfortunately, in the plot, things are bad.
The main disadvantage of "Cartoon Personalities" is that they were not always funny, although they are claimed as an entertaining show. Even then, I noticed that the first 8 episodes are simply not funny, but are crooked. For example, the series where Hillary Clinton harasses Lavrov, not the first couple of minutes it's funny. But when you watch the whole issue bend around him, whine that she wants him, etc., it gets infuriating and there's nothing funny about it. Or a series where Baskov looks out on the floor and says, "You're going to rip off my clothes and see me naked." This series is so stupid, not funny, and without ridiculing anything, that if I were Baskov I would have sued Channel One. Or a series where Arshavin in hysterics proves Sobchak that he loves only his wife! How funny it is, and only annoying.
But, with episode 8, the series overclocked and really became fun. The series as individuals came to a desert island and survive under the leadership of Drozdov; an episode with Putin’s song on Lada Kalina; the New Year’s party of Medvedev and Putin; a series about Pugacheva’s birthday and Saakashvili’s funeral, which takes place in one restaurant; how Galkin hid from the army. These releases were really funny and even witty, because the joke about Galkin sitting around the neck of Pugacheva or how Abramovich wants to concrete a volcano is really smart. But all this simply pales in comparison with the main engine of “Mult of personalities” – Alexander Lukashenko. That's who I got fired from, how much the creators mock him and mock him funny. Then he doesn’t want to leave the limousine, then he decides to learn kung fu, then he will build a time machine and, of course, he always wants money from Russia to beg. For me, of course, it is a mystery how Belarus did not block the export of cheese and milk to Russia after this, but I must admit that the series about Lukashenko turned out to be the most amusing.
But, unfortunately, at the end of the series began to move again. And if the first series were just funny situations, now even they were not. In one of the series, for example, Bondarchuk discusses Russian cinema with Mikhalkov and everything is done so indifferently, so not funny, so calmly. I am amazed that there is no way to get bored with Bondarchuk for the fact that each of his films is a Hollywood clutter or Mikhalkov for his "Orthodoxy" and "Weary of the Sun-2", no, they just sit and talk boringly. Or a series about the Depardieu bar, where all the foreigners come, there is no way to laugh at them again, but they just talk boringly. The series just became boring and not a bit funny, and therefore rolled.
But besides humor, there were other problems. One of them is that the “multiple personality” has lost a lot from the fact that they do not make fun of Russian realities. In contrast to the programs "Dolls" or "Blow out the lights", where there was a ridicule of Russian conditions and government policies, "Mult personality" exclusively mocked at individuals or Western politics, forgetting about Russia, presenting everything in a glamorous light. Of course, I understand, Channel One, and the times are wrong. But it was possible to make a joke as Galkin or Baskov visit the district clinic, or the heroes suffer from the law banning mat in the media, it would be at least something.
The other problem is that the show didn't always make fun of people. She just put them in a funny situation. For example, in one of the series Merkel and Berlusconi stalled on the road and could not move, Lavrov appears and with the words: “Patriot can lead only a real patriot” turns her on, with a push. The question is, if Lavrov-Merkel-Berlusconi is replaced by Stalin-Castro-Kennedy, for example, will this joke change? Nothing because she wasn't making fun of politicians, she was just putting them in a funny situation. Or, for example, one of the heroes – Chubais. How many jokes, jokes and banter open about him in all his activities. How did the creators use it? No way. He just talks about his new projects. Kudrin, Putin and Medvedev, the creators also do not reveal anything about this, these heroes simply exist. In one of the series, Elizabeth 2 is generally presented in the form of an old saleswoman, which shows that the personality of the show does not play a role, they are just the heroes of the sketch.
Conclusion: I still think "Multiple Personality" was a good idea. The problem is that they didn’t use their potential. Instead of a new laugh at the realities of Russia, Russian politicians; the program was limited to ridiculing famous show figures: Baskov, Kirkorov, Galkin, etc., over whom everyone was not too lazy to make fun of (I admire them, I have never sued anyone, although as they were only not called, a lesson for some politicians and stars). While Putin, Medvedev, and Russian laws stood out as if the creators themselves were afraid. And the series, as I said, was once funny, and at the beginning and at the end were boring.
