Good luck! Before sliding to the level of school amateur activity, Mikhail Kokshenov shot quite interesting comedies. His first film was “Russian Business”, which tells about the adventures of two simple friends who decided to arrange a “Russian safari” for American tourists. Despite the general cheapness characteristic of comedies of the 90s, the picture still had success with the audience. On the wave of popularity, Kokshenov shot two sequels at once - "Russian Miracle" and "Russian Account".
They were almost a head worse than “Business”.
The film "Russian Miracle" starts at the airport, where three characters (Kokshenov, Farada, Krachkovsky) are waiting for the arrival of the psychic Koshmarovskiy (an obvious parody of Kashpirovsky) to fly to America - there he is scheduled to perform before Russian emigration. It turns out that Koshmarovsky is now in the hospital, so, due to the great similarity, he is replaced by the character of Farada.
As you can see, the plot is quite simple. The action itself is more like a long and bearded joke. Sometimes there are funny jokes, but there are very few. Given that the film was made in the 90s, when there was almost no money for the movie, many blunders can be forgiven. Actors play at the level of those years, so they do not stand out.
Compared to other comedies of the 90s, this is a very good picture. Especially compared to the next films of Mikhail Kokshenov.
