History of one harvest The golden dawn rises, not for you into the sky. Bagulnik blooms in the Altai - it is not blooming for you now ...
It so happened that the filmed and fully mounted first picture of Leon Nikolayevich Saakov about the life of the advanced Komsomol field brigade "Steppe Dawns" (1953) was not released on screens. Then there were four films about the war, one of which many people know - "Spring on the Oder" (1967). But his penultimate film “Cool Field” (1979) with the audience was unlucky: there is not a single voice on the page of the film! And this despite the fact that the war films of the director are in demand for both older and younger generations. We will try to restore justice by paying tribute to the tape, which personally gave me 68 minutes of great mood.
The script, as well as for most of his films, Leon Nikolaevich wrote himself, inviting as a co-writer of the now famous Alexei Timm (" Sagittarius Remorseless" (1993)), for whom the work on the picture became a debut. The result was a film that absorbed not only the production and kolkhoz themes, but also the personal experiences of the heroes about the Rodna, about love, about home. The plot of the film is simple: the chairman of the advanced Altai kolkhoz, a former front-line soldier Stepan Kochkarin (Dmitriy Franko), implements a strategy for consolidation of farms on the example of the village of Olkhovka. However, with his view of a large businessman, the villagers do not agree, for whom moving to the central estate means a break with the past, to which they have become attached with all their heart.
The film is sustained and balanced. A very small timekeeping is an indisputable plus of the picture, because there are no unnecessary scenes in it, although the viewer will have time to show not only the production conflict itself, but the story of the daughter of the chairman of the kolkhoz Masha - a talented artist, forced to choose between continuing her studies in Leningrad and working with her father. There's no overreach in her choice. Everything happens simply and naturally, as in life, because you perceive what is happening on the screen with great confidence.
The director did not forget about the beauties of the Altai Territory in one of the areas where the shooting took place. There are few such episodes, but they are shot beautifully. Harmonious musical accompaniment created by Valentin Levashov (" Love and Pigeons" (1984). It highlights not only the inner spiritual world of the heroes, but also the majestic beauty of Altai. Very nice and three verses of songs about unrequited love.
It can be considered not only in relation to man - woman, but also in relation to nature - man, then the sound of the lines will be completely different. But you're still waiting for an answer. And you live hoping again. Thanks for this undivided love... A good movie that gives not only a good mood, but also allows you to take a new look at the place in which you live.
