Sadovsky - Kick, another punch Who remembers him now? Victor Sadovsky. But the films of this man are one of the most worthwhile representatives of the genre of sports cinema. I will say more, these tapes look much stronger and many foreign recognized samples. The more valuable it was to unearth several forgotten masterpieces in the pantry of cyberspace.
“Blow, another blow” could well claim the title of the best Soviet film of that year. Everything in it is coherent and clear. It seems that everything begins with references to the match of life during the blockade in the distant Leningrad of 1942. And then everything goes to the psychological alignment in the team and family - the coach has to expel for the fault of one of the players, while lowering another disciplinary violation to his son and, concurrently, the best player. The film is crowned by a detailed analysis of the decisive match - the location of the cameras gives professional directorship of the sports event, which cannot but enthralle.
Perhaps the picture may seem a little naive. The creators make too many excuses for the all-encompassing popularity of football. But, at the same time, we are shown a generalized image of the Soviet athlete – purposeful, confident, honest. By the way, the director very subtly noted the peculiarities of feeling for the outcome of the match, expressed in the early departure from the stands. And notes like this are a whole scattering. And in the psychological intricacies and stresses of professional sports, Sadovsky catches and shows much more than they showed in Legend No. 17.
