A lost past. Part 15. Charming bastard. The film turned out to be very interesting. This is a crime drama that tells the story of a desperate guy Frederick, who got out of prison and decided to sit in Miami. The mountains were on the knee and he began to create a real lawlessness.
Watching the adventures of the crazy guy was fascinating. It was impossible to predict what he would do in the next scene. What was going on in his head is not for everyone. It would seem that there is a chance to start life anew, but he stubbornly walked along the curved path that repeatedly led him to the wrong place. I call these people dead. They cannot be corrected or persuaded. For them, robberies and murders are the only way to survive, they simply cannot live like normal people. Having chosen such a life path, it is difficult to hope for a favorable outcome.
The events proceed in a rather cheerful way, despite the fact that everything that the character of this picture did is extremely terrible. This crazy guy with his inherent arrogance and perseverance turned the city upside down. Without fear, he robbed and killed everyone, even the cops. By the way, the second character of the picture is a policeman, also with problems.
Watching young handsome Alec Baldwin is a pleasure. Easily and mundanely, he walked his own path, sometimes even doing the right thing. Now he is fat and is no longer in the cohort of top actors. Remember at least the last Mission impossible. No play, no good looks. However, what to say, years do not spare anyone. In the same film, he brilliantly coped with the role of a crazy bastard. His opponent was Fred Ward. I never watched him play very closely. Yes, I remember a couple of good roles, the same Trembling Earth first comes to mind. In the Miami Blues, he impressively got used to the role of a troubled cop, his game simply could not be trusted. To some extent, today I really discovered this actor. Well, the young beauty of Jennifer Jason Lee. Could this role have been better than her? Great, great, incredible. Those innocent eyes when she came in as a prostitute in Frederick's room. And the lost face in the end? Great game.
I definitely recommend watching. Absolutely not boring and not tiring criminal drama that flies unnoticed. And it seems that nothing impressive happened in the film, and the emotions after watching the most cheerful. Such feelings give only the cinema of the last century, so to speak time-tested.
