Heavy and oppressive cinema, mercilessly baring the underside of a modern democratic society of a progressive country, in which almost unlimited rights of the child reach absurdity, and it does not matter that in the end both children and parents suffer, but only the system itself wins, tirelessly implementing its cruel mathematics of destroyed families and crippled destinies.
Svetlana Chuykina, known to viewers for her long-standing role of Nina Silakova in the series of the same name, showed a brilliant game and a chic emotional range, embodying a huge range of strong feelings - fear, grief, anger, despair and hope. No less excellent was played by Ivan Yankovsky - every appearance on the screen was a gift for the viewer, and a powerful climax scene became the crown of his performance in this film.
The film is based on several real stories, and the very fact of their existence makes you think about the pseudo-humane construction of juvenile justice in general and its consequences for every person who encounters it.
8 out of 10
If you look at the film as a movie, it is even good, the ending is generally shot quite well. But if you look at his message (exaggerated cruel guardianship bodies, especially this aunt..), then of course this is a campaign that clearly fits into the current propaganda agenda. Total - 6
Oh, and these "Jammatys." They always want the good, but in their hands on the good it is something not
What feelings should remain in the viewer after watching? Is Juvenile Justice Evil?
Did the filmmakers achieve the effect they wanted – to show what NOT to do and how not to be marginalized? Or the desired effect was that the viewer who believed them was convinced that any fool can (and should) be quite effectively justified through a rather virtual concept of “press”.
Really? And this alone should automatically override all the laws of interaction between normal people? To make someone right, whatever you do?
What makes you a person, apart from times of difficulty?
That, not being able to fit into a given framework, you easily decide: "Oh, well, then I will bypass the law." (Squeeze?)
That is, not being able to survive difficult circumstances, and instead of admitting, "I can't cope." Please help me for a while. Take care of the most valuable for me, you give yourself the right to drown the mountain with vodka (And what is so great?), throw a child in the snow (And what is so great?), drive drunk (And what is so-and-so?)
Can it be degraded and put people’s lives in danger? Or onazhrussian - and this is how a wide, truly soulful soul manifests itself?
Mentioning the national aspect is awkward for cultured people. And just to take and silently put the crash of nationalities in the basis of the film - nothing like that. Do not forget to add Polish and Middle Eastern children. It is clear which side is the antagonist or the protagonist. Well, that's it, by accident. It was an accident. It's just that she's like that. Not like the writer's head. And not so that he wished ' his truth' to put it in other people's heads. Who, having been born in those countries, have not been, have not lived, and have not encountered, but now they will know for sure what children are eating for breakfast there. It’s just because the writer’s soul is the most soulful, and the truth is the most truthful. And how else? The question out loud - why this cross-country and cross-cultural clash is the basis of the plot - is able to make the questioner unethical, tactless, and uncultured. Well, almost on the verge of Nazism. And the silent and unflappable thrust of the whole script on him - of course not. Although the question is absolutely in all countries, in relation to absolutely all nationalities, races, colors and genders should lie for a truly normal person in the plane - these are the adults with whom you can leave people small or not. And at least small people once happened from their causal place to be born. And by what behavior you can understand from the outside.
Oh, those yakmati and patriots. Forever wishing for the good, but always finding themselves, if not on the verge of marginalization, then complicity in murder. With the jarenic suspended in surprise: "How is that?", I'm only for everything good and only against everything bad. ' I didn't pay for this ' Well, what did you pay for, honey? How does it feel in your head what you pay for?
And not to say that the guardianship authorities did not give the lady a chance to stop, to think about what she is doing.
The child gets used to any mother that is nearby. And a lot of what she broadcasts undisturbed. Even without considering anything beyond what is broadcasting. But does he have to get used to that? That’s the question an honest writer would ask. Or skilled.
It is difficult to say - to draw psychotherapists by those who want to shut up a person and those ' to normalize' - is the ignorance of a screenwriter of another profession. Or powerlessness in your own. To prescribe someone more complicated than cardboard figures of villains in dialogues, I understand, is difficult. So, normal psychotherapists are actually sharpened to remove pain from people, help cry and rethink. And here are the topics ' normalize' - that is, turn to normal life decisions. It does not harm other people either. But the picture with stupefying pills, of course, is easier. And it is easier, probably, to fall on a truly broad, broad soul. And a mind with a broad horizon of thought.
Is it to the benefit of the restless, socially rushing fool, with pain closed inside, and the screenwriter’s presentation on abstract material to her of all who could somehow provide at least some help – cardboard enemies pursuing the intention to finish it off and finish it off? I don't think so.
Just look at it from the other side - if her child had been hit by another drunken woman driving... If there was another nanny sitting with her child, drinking vodka... If her child lived with his father throwing him in a rage in the snow... Well, how furious... Not furious, of course, but fake. Play it. Isn't that what a writer sees? Some innocently drink vodka, gently drive drunk vehicles, playfully throw children in the snow. But other evil monsters just use their easy and meaningless miscalculations to break the life of really good, nice, kind people.
The plot is built, at least, so that the viewer thought: ' Yes, I just saw this with my own eyes. The woman seemed to be nice initially, still neat, did nothing like that & #39; What about reality? Well, the one on which the series is based? Which began to develop in the direction where it has become. With a nice, neat woman, not inclined to do what she is not inclined to do. Isn't that the problem? Not seeing the problem as a problem? Indication of what is happening to dozens of people - a reason to reconsider something in yourself? At least stop rushing. Stop insisting on an immediate solution, as you like. Stop counting: 'It's not me that influences the situations I choose/apply. It was forced by itself & #39;
And what, indeed, is more profitable for society, including the fools in it, and the screenwriters who believe: ' You do not hiipan - you do not self-exalt'? It is not difficult to understand, not only what is wrong with juvenile justice, but also what is very “right” with it?
You can go on and you can summarize. From the point of the boy’s initial decision shown, such consequences simply could not have grown. Be present in the situation balanced, reasonable, able to take care of yourself and someone else mother. Yes, he would have contributed ' frequency perturbations' by 5%. They would have paid off the remaining 95%. But it's taken as it is. And in what was removed - on her account the staff of juvenile justice was not mistaken. But should writers fix people in the feeling of right to do what will dump their own lives and the lives of their children in hell – this question should be answered for themselves and the audience, and the creators of the movie.
This is a good film that I recommend to all parents, mothers in the first place, although it would be great for children from 12 years old to also see this picture, perhaps they would understand something. It’s not always the parents who are to blame for the tragedy, and it’s the way it’s described in the film. And thank God we live in a democratic country where this is simply impossible, on the contrary, parents get away with a lot.
The film tells about the ugliness of the juvenile system. Janusz Korczak was the founder of this system, but his modern followers vulgarized his idea, they disfigured it beyond recognition in order to earn money. Such a person, we are sole proprietors, our good is closer to us, we all want everything for ourselves, and for another – on the residual principle. This is what the story is about.
A beautiful work that reveals the essence, all the horrors of what is happening to the unhappy families of rich migrants and beggars alike. They cannot adapt, no matter how hard they try, and for that they pay with the lives of their children. Was it worth it? Is a well-fed Europe worth it, if you pay for satiety and imaginary status, you have to pay with the life of a child?
The picture is good not only for its history, but also for its beauty. I really liked the winter landscapes, Husky’s dogs, the New Year’s mood, which was overshadowed by the further unfolding of the plot.
The cast was also pleased. Yankovsky handsome, I can’t say that in this film he played on five plus, but to see him in the movies is still always nice. Well, the favorite of Svetlana Chuikin, of course, next to her any young artist will look very faded. Svetlana, this is a professional actress, she has an unrealistic number of hours worked on stage and in the movies, she is good, talented and in this film she gave her all and conveyed all the pain and despair to her mother. You look at her and you cry!
A good movie with a great beginning and a sad ending. I recommend to all those who still dream of Europe, progress and imaginary values, look and see if you do not have enough money to travel and do not have the opportunity to see firsthand all this lawlessness that is creating a progressive civilized world. I wish there were more such films.
Happiness is very inexpensive (c)
Where is the line between moralizing and underhead and the real threat to the child? At what point should the state be involved in such relations, and what should be done if, by law, they have more rights than their parents?
A mother and son who have been living in exile in Scandinavia for several years are waiting for news from their husband, a war correspondent who has disappeared in Syria. While his mother is engaged in blogging, the boy is completely on his own. One day she can't stand it and breaks down on her son. And he calls the special services and they pick him up. Now his mother will have to go through all the circles of hell to collect the necessary documents, pass interviews and prove that she is able to raise her son and not reach the point of assault.
Natalia Nazarova ("A Simple Pencil") and her team talk about modern horrors. The fact that in some countries laws have been adopted, where parents can easily lose parental rights, and the further fate of their children will be dealt with by special services, for which this is a full-fledged business.
The operator of “North wind” created from the Pskov and Kaliningrad regions a real, harsh, emotionless Scandinavia.
Svetlana Chuykina, Vladimir Levchenko and Ivan Yankovsky played a triangle that aspires to each other, and at the same time tries to straighten out the monstrous situation by returning the child to his mother. Foreign actors give weight and portray the other side, which has its own truth, tasks and solutions.
“You can’t cry” is a picture about betrayal and faith, about what it is impossible to keep silent, about what needs to be changed and what to fight. This cannot be allowed to happen, and if it happened, it is necessary, clutching teeth, go through all the grindstones of the system and, having received a terrible lesson, try to live on.
The bond between mother and child cannot be broken. However, we are increasingly faced with the concept of juvenile justice. To tell the truth, I didn’t have much interest in its features, but when I saw the trailer for the movie “Cry Not,” I wanted to delve into the essence of this issue in more detail, and it really alarmed me. And the worst thing is that in many countries of the world, and in Europe in particular, the laws of juvenile justice do not even think to abolish, but on the contrary, they are considered a great good!
Now I want to talk about the film itself. The events take place in Scandinavia, where a young Russian woman Tatiana moved with her son Kolya. For Tatiana it was a difficult step, but she decided on it, because she wants her son only the best. In the new place, Tatiana married a military journalist, and most importantly, despite all the disputes and doubts, Kolya accepted him as a native. Nevertheless, family happiness was short-lived, because during a business trip to Syria, Ingmar Olsen disappeared. Tatiana became very worried about this and could in her hearts make her son play less Vikings and read more books, and this led to the consequences that we see next.
Social services considered that Tatiana is very bad for Kola, and decide to take him into their custody. Realizing that she can count only on herself, Tatiana decides to show that she follows the law, does not violate anything and is ready to cooperate, but no one wants to hear her voice. It is quite clear that she is on the verge of despair, the stress is simply incredible, but she will continue to go to the end, because in another way simply can not. Everyone can make a mistake, but that doesn’t mean they should be denied the opportunity to be with their child. The story turned out to be dramatic, filled with emotions and feelings that are definitely worth skipping through yourself.
When I watched this film, it was as if I had all the same experiences as the main character Tatiana in a very sensual and emotional performance of Svetlana Chuykina. Earlier I saw the actress in the series “Nina”, which made a great impression on me, and now she has a new main role. I understand the motivation of a woman, her moral state and aspirations. Yes, she may seem weak and defenseless, but still do not underestimate her will. She is against the whole system and wants to show how imperfect it is, and the picture that is shown in the media is fake. Will it be easy? Not at all. But Tatiana has no other choice and can not be.
Despite all the resistance of the Scandinavian authorities, the film shows a very strong bond between mother and child. And we have no doubt that Tatiana from the heart strives to bring back Kolya. There are no manipulations or tricky games here, and to the end I want to believe that officials will also understand all this. Yes, maybe Kolya acted recklessly when he complained about his mother, but at the same time all the events presented in the film make the characters much closer, and they will understand that they must hold on to each other despite all the blows that life sends them.
My conclusion: “No crying” I will definitely remember for a long time. This film became a kind of cold shower for me, revealing the true face of many things that happen in our world right here and now the work turned out in every sense worthy.
We are used to trusting the law and believing that the rule of law will protect us from any problems. We have heard about this more than once, especially from European politicians and journalists who say that they are building a happy society in which virtually everyone has a place. However, in fact, the situation is not as unambiguous as someone would like and the new film “Cry can not” shows us one of the facets of a democratic society, which brings much more pain than bright emotions.
The plot of the film takes place in one of the Scandinavian countries, about which we hear on TV and on the network mainly only the best. It has some of the highest salaries in Europe. The standard of living is also decent, and the number of crimes, according to official statistics, is at the lowest statistical border. So it is not surprising that immigrants from different parts of the world tend to move here, and Tatiana (Svetlana Chuykina, the star of the series “Nina”), the main character of the film, was also among them.
It was here that Tatiana found her second home, remarried and rightly believed that she and her 10-year-old son Kola would now be very well. And at first, everything went really well. Kolya managed to make friends with his stepfather, they lived in a beautiful house and did not need anything. However, things went awry when Ingmar disappeared in Syria. This was a big blow to Tatiana, and soon her son called social services with a statement that his mother treats him badly and forces him to do what he does not want. Naturally, after such a statement, Kolyu was immediately taken away by social services and now all communication between mother and son should take place in English and in the presence of special guards.
And now you have fully understood what juvenile justice is in Europe and what “charms” it carries. In fact, the state takes the child for itself, leaving the parents out of business. Of course, inspectors try to find out all the details of the mother-child relationship, but in most cases it boils down to one thing: the system takes away our children, and parents are forced to conduct endless debates with social services in order to at least briefly see those who love more life. None of the inspectors care about the fact that the mother worries that the child goes to bed earlier, learns more and plays less at the computer. According to European norms, even at the age of 10, a child should actually do whatever he wants, even if he does not understand that his parents really want him only the best.
The film was dramatically powerful and intense from start to finish. I honestly wanted to empathize with Tatiana, because despite everything, she continues to be a loving mother who really wants to be close to her Kolya. Yes, like everyone, she is far from perfect, but this does not mean that her son must now be inexplicably located, and under the supervision of people who really do not care what happens in the soul of their wards. Very emotional and very important for the plot here are flashbacks from the recent life of Tatiana and her son. Thanks to them, we get to know the characters much closer, and the story itself becomes more voluminous and understandable.
Ivan Yankovsky played a very important role in the story. I actually love this actor. Among his generation, he is one of the most interesting. Yankowski only needs to be on screen for a few minutes, but I guarantee you will remember him. It was his hero who came to Tatiana’s aid when she needed it the most, and the revelations that he gives out closer to the end struck me. Ivan’s game is on top, and, as always, he is great.
That’s the movie, and I know it shouldn’t be overlooked. “No Crying” tells a very important story. This is a warning to all of us that we need to take into account. I want to thank the authors for their courage.
There is nothing more important to every mother than her child. When we had a baby in our family, he became literally everything to me, and I just can’t imagine how to break the connection with him. However, sometimes there are situations when not everything depends on our decisions and we can just take and take away the most valuable that we have. It is about such injustice that we are told by a new piercing drama called “You can not cry.”
The plot is led by Tatiana Olsen, who moved with her son Nikolai to Scandinavia some time ago. Here, the woman found her true happiness in the person of Ingmar, with whom they settled in a large house and even began to lead their own video blog. It would seem that now Tatiana finally got everything you could dream of, but fate has prepared for her serious trials. After going to Syria as a military journalist, Ingmar disappeared without a trace. Left without the support of her husband, Tatiana actually fell into depression, but the worst for her was ahead.
Once Kolya left home and disappeared without a trace. The school does not know where the child is, but soon that phone of Tatiana comes an alarm bell. It becomes known that the local authorities considered that the mother mistreated the child and decided that now Kolya should live in a special institution. Naturally, this is not at all suitable for the mother, because she does not like her soul in her child and will try to do everything possible to bring him back. But first she needs to break through the wall of misunderstanding, which becomes a very difficult, partly even impossible task, but this does not mean that Tatiana should give up.
To be honest, the film made a strong impression on me. This is a really strong and shrill work that is worth watching for every parent. The authors raised a very complex topic that continues to be relevant even now. About 10 years ago, we also actively introduced the principles of the juvenile system, but after long discussions, it was decided to put this issue on pause. But in Europe, this is much more complicated.
The opening scene of the film is very tense and shows us one of the cases of people taking a child from the house. I was struck by the uncompromising cruelty with which social services operate, and the worst thing is that everything shown here is true. Then the plot already concerts all our attention on Tatiana and her struggle.
Together with Tatiana, we go through almost all the circles of hell. Well, look for yourself - she is, in fact, alone in a foreign country. Without a husband and devoted friends. Now she has also taken the child away. Of course, it will fight, but how difficult it is to resist the system when you are a stranger in a new country and do not fully understand the situation. In general, this is a very complex and important movie. The problems faced by the main character, deal with many immigrants. No one wants to understand the situation properly and this leads to the fact that children lose their families, and parents are heartbroken. In my opinion, at least in our country, we have no right to allow this to happen by any means.
In addition, I want to note that the film is incredibly beautiful and atmospheric. Shooting is really at a height, but there is nothing to be surprised, because the film’s operator was Oleg Lukichev, whose asset is a lot of strong and respectable works. And how not to mention the director Natalia Nazarova, each new film which becomes a big event. “You can’t cry” was just that. There is so much talk about him now and I have no doubt that this story will linger in the memory of viewers for a long time. At least I will not forget him.
As a result, I will say that “No Crying” refers to those films that you just need to take and watch. The work is intense, emotional and will make you think about many things. So don't miss it.
