Brave lion. An amazing man. Viruman. Viruman left his father’s home as a child, blaming his father for his mother’s death. The latter, by the way, refused to admit his guilt. Years passed. Viruman was raised by his maternal uncle. Seeing only kindness and care from a relative, he grew up a good and faithful man. And also strong, brave and reliable, ready to give at least the last shirt for the sake of the family. But the family does not see and does not want to accept his help. Under the yoke of a despotic father, the rest of his sons and daughters-in-law refuse to let Viruman even on the doorstep of the house. But the more often he is chased and insulted, the more persistently he knocks on the door. Will the family understand what Viruman wants? And most importantly, will the son forgive the father and will the father accept the son?
I did not expect Muthaya to make such a great film in all respects. His 'Comban' I didn't get in at all. And here you will not go anywhere, not to start comparing his two works, created with a difference of seven years. The first thing that amused me when I got acquainted with the work of this director is that all his films are named after the main characters. Right, why bother and invent something? Second, let’s turn directly to these two pictures – their plots are moving in the same direction. In ' Combana' also the family squabbles were brought to the fore, but all sorts of absurdities and village disassemblies were mixed too much there, that by the end the head went round. It seems to me that it was all about the screenwriter, because ' Viruman' in the presence of all the same episodes (an integral part of Indian cinema, in general, otherwise how do you prove that the hero is cool?), but having the director himself in the writers, causes completely different emotions.
To make sure my eyes weren’t fooling me, I watched the movie twice. And the second time I found in it even more pluses that influenced my undoubtedly high rating. The story is built very competently to interest from the very first shots. The picture is bright, juicy. The battle scenes are fantastic (and a compliment). I have never seen him before, and I have never seen him before. He’s not a flimsy in every movie, but he’s incredibly powerful. I hope none of his colleagues were hurt during filming. In any case, even if there were victims (and this is probably difficult to avoid when you are imprinted with your head into the ground or into stonework), it was worth it – it was perfectly shot and very beautiful. Further, the relay of positive vibrations takes voice-over music and soundtracks. Wonderful Y.S. Raja, as they say, is both a Swede and a reaper, he writes and sings himself. Beautiful dance motifs, the music is soulful, then heroically exciting. Song clips are no less good. In one of them Kartik showed such miracles of acrobatics, which I do not remember. The other two are pure romance, which naturally pleases the female eye.
And yet the main advantages for which you can love this film are a soulful story about family values and actors in the lead roles, namely Kartik and Prakash Raj. The first advantage, perhaps, is a priority, because without a good script, no matter how the actors do not jump, there will be no use. The main character is just a holy man! From his mouth and pour phrases: ' I'm not for myself', ' I don't need anything, just to ...' etc. They beat on the left cheek, so he substitutes the right. He is chased, bonfired, and his chest stands up for protection. 39 Now that sons are not feeding even their living mothers, you are feeding the whole village in memory of your deceased mother. You can only imagine how you will take care of your wife & #39, says Virumanu his lover. How can you not admire his nobility and kind heart? And how can you not admire Kartik at all, I do not understand. In opposition to him is the hero Prakash Raja. Glad to see that it was between the two. What views they exchanged, how they infuriated each other - this is acting in all its glory. Yet behind the seemingly unfriendly environment, so many good deeds were done, so many hearts warmed, so many lives changed. From the last film Kartika ' Sultan' I had the same good feeling. Once again, his hero demonstrates to us that family ties are indestructible - they are forever.
I would love to recommend this film to everyone. Let him give everyone a piece of goodness, love and family happiness. Good to see you all!
