Life is a journey. Josh and his loyal friend and collaborator Blue on the search for clues receive a response in the mail - an invitation to audition from the Rainbow puppy. It is only when the characters arrive in New York that they completely forget where to go because of the noise and frantic rhythm of the Big Apple. Josh and his blue friend must have time to perform on Broadway by noon to fulfill Josh’s cherished dream.
Everything else: it may seem strange to you that such a guy found in a Nickelodeon entertainment program that a normal person would reject. I'll tell you what. This educational program for children (not for the mentally retarded, as some people think!) teaches a generation to work out thinking, develop memory and attention. Here we are - fans of Josh, Blue (Tracy Page Johnson) and the rest of their friends - waited for a solo film, where the characters are transferred from their fairy-tale reality (in which Josh is the only living person) to the real world. New York. A big apple to get lost in once! And to break into the first rows of pop stars on Broadway the best is even more difficult. But, thanks to this adventure, the hero proves that anything is possible. Just have to go, albeit without a notebook (because the main host of the program Josh Cruz is a little tight with memory). My nephew sometimes laughs at how he misses obvious clues from under his nose. But it looks funny against the background of animated series, which divorced countless, and choose the ideal option for leisure and that children watch with pleasure, difficult. Even more amusing is the way New York inanimate objects, like a coffee cup, a garbage can, mustard (it is good that the stone statues of lions did not come to life, with whom he talked). On the way after them rushed (don't really laugh) Mr. Sole (left Mrs. Perechnitsa and the children at home) and together with the rest of the participants of the campaign in New York went to rescue Josh. For Mr. Solonka it is a matter of principle, he wants to be a hero in the eyes of Josh.
I liked the modern and very strange detective Steve played by Steve Barnes - a lover of pretzels for charging the mind. But we find out who sings on the trumpet behind-the-scenes mysterious music to the tone of Steve's investigation. The ball seller, whose attempts to reach Josh with the help of animated and computer-generated balls, were unsuccessful, also intervenes. It's a shame the balls were wasted.
In the film you will not find Hollywood stars, except B.D. Wong (From 'Park and Jurassic World'), the rest clearly former members of star TV projects, perhaps someone from the American version ' Voices': Ali Stroker, Paige Johnson and so on. Most of the artists we have seen before in previous TV shows.
Everything else: the musical numbers in the film are very rich. So much so that all New Yorkers join Josh and help him, including finding his own song (singer Taboo also joined). Written by Liz McKee and Angela Santomero, and director Matt Stawsky expands the boundaries of the fairy-tale world and lets Josh know that you need to try everything in this life, because as the taxi driver (dropped Josh): ' Life is a journey'.
Impressions: An exciting journey will make children think about a lot. It'll cheer you up a bit.
