Beautiful silent work! Good job! So far, I have not been able to accurately define the main theme of the film I am tossing between “random inspiration from the events of the outside world”.
(The main character was inspired by a girl with a violin from the transition.)
And the "problem of indecision"
If the main character was a little braver, he could count on a relationship with this girl from the transition.
For me personally, the hero’s conflict of indecision pulls the blanket over. A very good workout of the character, his indecision and uncertainty manifests itself in every detail. From trying on shirts, ending with the beginning of playing his game on the keys (he squeezes his hands into his fists, as if he is afraid to take the wrong note).
At the same time, the main character looks very neat and disposes to himself. He has a pleasant appearance and manner of behavior. I was very fond of the moment when he comes home and starts to freak out, he sharply and hysterically opens the lid of the piano, thus dealing a strong blow. For which he immediately apologizes to the tool lightly passing through the body with his hand (as if ironing as an apology for unintentional aggression towards the tool).
The film clearly reveals the side of indecision in their actions. If you look at the disclosure of the topic of “inspiration”, then everything is quite subjective. If you see the conflict of the love line immediately, then with creativity you need to dig a little and think.
Why does the hero fantasize about not the most pleasant events (a girl who obviously likes him tends to a more confident guy) but at the same time his music is folding and gives hope?
I found that inspiration often comes from pain. Creative people will understand... the work you create under the influence of negative events or thoughts is often something special, valuable, and beautiful. It's a paradox. Strong emotions encourage you to create, but the trouble is that it has its own price.
