In the darkness of another's soul The student Totono Kuno is brought to the police station, without further words, laying out the accusation and evidence on the table: a dead body, testimony of witnesses, a murder weapon with fingerprints of his hands, seeking an instant confession from the young man, but he, never leaving his place, begins to dig in the opposite direction, exposing the accuser himself, which causes a furor and brings him the sympathy of modest detectives who are ready to use the obvious talent of the unfazed “Curly”, willing to respond to a request to deal with a complicated case or study someone’s profile.
Originally from the well-known manga, the series consists of several criminal-detective novels in which an able student becomes both the cause and the investigator, revealing the mysteries of rather intricate stories that have an obvious and not obvious socio-moral and psychological context, in places with a frankly psychiatric bias and a different interpretation of manic inclinations, revealing the traumatic past and present of mysterious and mysterious characters who suffer no less than a young psychoanalyst who analyzes their condition, much surprising experienced experts.
Totono Kuno, performed by Masaki Suda, is an unflappable and balanced investigator - an amateur, alarmingly cold-blooded and accurate in his calculations, why much in him seems detached - eccentric, until one case is followed by another, where from participation one step to complicity, and from him to sympathy - the involved character carries his sensations outside, conveying to us, casual observers, moving from personal drama to family tragedy, from illusion to obsession, and without being presented to the main character through the most fascinating and sensitious episode, if it does not turn into a series of the most fascinating for the soul.
