A grim story This film with unknown actors attracted me with its plot, as well as by analogy with other films, and also how many times I have said that accidentally found films, to their surprise, are interesting and intriguing.
This film, titled 'Teacher' begins quite temptingly - professional tutor Ethan (played by Garrett Hedlund) gets a job in a remote country estate, where the billionaire's son lives (the role was played by Noah Schnapp). Over time, Ethan realizes that the billionaire’s son’s interest in Ethan’s life is becoming increasingly unusual and intrusive.
As I said, the movie starts off intriguingly and attracts interest, and surprisingly, the actors are doing well, especially Garrett Hedlund, who plays Ethan. I always say that thrillers have to be intriguing with their strangeness, their darkness and their unpredictable ending. In this film, unfortunately, loses its intrigue closer to the middle, and if you think very carefully, the film has small logical inconsistencies associated with the past of Ethan. Now I will not spoil the details, many can understand, starting to watch a movie.
In general, I want to say that the film has its twists and unusual moments that can attract and intrigue, especially the beginning of the film, but the film could be made even better with a more interesting plot.
