A real folk movie. It's hard to look without tears. I was very moved and made to think about it and review it because it is a very life story. This is the joint work of my colleagues, whom I greatly respect not only for their professionalism, but also for their humanity and sincerity.
The film was originally planned as a full-length, but when working out the script, the perceived depth of the story did not allow to shoot this project in a short genre. And a feature film was made. The film’s director and screenwriter is Martha Kotova. This is her debut film, it made a vivid impression on both viewers-colleagues, and on viewers not professionally associated with filmmaking. A film about the good that always comes back will soon receive a rental certificate and, hopefully, will be presented at the Festivals and at a wide box office.
A film about a kind and simple guy-realtor. He, preparing for the wedding and dreaming of simple human happiness, family well-being, suddenly falls seriously ill. His bride turns out to be weak, faint-hearted and, in fact, a stranger to him - shows neither love nor care for him, and then leaves the hero in trouble.
Remaining in need, the hero, at all his modest means, buys up potatoes with bags and, together with his brother, delivers and “throws” to needy families in his small town.
Not hoping for anything about his own fate, he helps people of the last strength and abilities and later he finds personal happiness. And the good, selflessly done for strangers, returns "boomerang". In addition, with him is already a devoted and loving person, "the very, the real one."
The film is based on the personal story of the director and screenwriter.
