He wants to get inside the killers' heads. A real detective on a book with an actress who even in Game of Thrones once lit up.
The series is based on the self-titled autobiography of South African forensic psychologist and police investigator Miki Pistorius, who was instrumental in the convictions of many serial killers in the late 1990s.

In the series there are indirect and direct references to famous American maniacs, but mostly it is a rather original project, which is great.
A turtle hunter of South African maniacs. For the first time, my attention was attracted by the main actress in the series Young Morse. In one of the episodes, her heroine was interrogated by the main characters, but the interrogation came out such that it was she who turned their male souls inside out, while acting out and very feminine, sexually even, remaining dressed. She was a lot younger at the time.
Yeah, the show isn't that catchy. Again, we have an anthology, meaning we don't hunt, roughly speaking, a maniac all season. We always have new antiheroes, even the assistants of the main character change. And it breaks the integrity of the plot, although it seems to be based on real events. At the same time, the series itself will spoil a lot, there are no secrets for the viewer. We are often almost immediately shown a maniac, that is, we investigate and look for someone, even the police with the assistance of our profiler quite quickly find the criminals. Another thing is that often you need a confession of a criminal who otherwise can not be imprisoned without sufficient evidence. And then our profiler, as it were, participates in the interrogation, leading gently, delicately and psychologically criminals to confessions of murder and other atrocities. It's just that some maniacs try to pretend to be crazy, refuse to give previously confessed testimony, or simply leave in place some of their dark deeds not enough evidence. We have to make them confess. Not that it will solve anything, though. Confession can then be withdrawn. Someone will be jailed, but they will come out in a relatively short period of time. Someone will be acquitted in years. Someone might even get off the hook... without even sitting out. We are given a certificate at the end of each story about what happened next to the suspect/convicted.
As a result, purely from the point of view of profiling methods, the series does not really show anything, does not bring out patterns. According to the plot, we have a kind of inexperienced young lady who teaches the craft of others, but also herself, as it were, learns everything in the course of the play.
What do you want to see? Well, in South Africa, on the way of life and customs of the past, on how maniacs, policemen and other peaceful citizens live here. I personally admire the main actress. Well, she fell in love with me once..., although in this movie she wears almost male outfits and generally does not dress in typical female clothes. Ekakaya is bigger than Clarisse Starling, although even the latter looked sexier.
