On strange disappearances There is a certain category of films that, after watching, raises only one question: Why did I watch this? "Disappeared in the night" is from this category.
The story. A couple’s children are abducted and their father is taken to work as a smuggler to pay the ransom.
Questions to the main character I have fallen from the first frames. Unlucky player with big debts, living in a huge house, having a decent boat and at the same time (as I realized) not working, because the only method of quick earnings he saw in smuggling, which (so coincidence!) had to be done urgently and the cost coincided with the cost of ransom. The mother of the family in the end also did not cause any desire to sympathize with her and her actions except for the word “stupid” can not be called. Why half an hour to show the gathering of the hero of the film on an island in Greece, I also did not understand. The end of the film is quite strange - it is difficult to believe that there is a happy future for all the characters, including children.
Over. There is an intrigue, but everything looks very stupid and drawn out. The basics/logic for all the actions of the participants I never saw.
Don’t look at it quietly.
