Petrovsky VS Khrumkina. May the strongest prevail. Not so long ago, we all watched with interest how people’s favorite Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard are suing. This trial drew the attention of even those people who did not particularly follow Hollywood, and therefore it would be at least wasteful from an artistic point of view if such a story were not turned into a great satirical comedy for many episodes. Still, we do not forget that Depp and Heard were in court for more than one day. But Hollywood something in this regard somehow does not hurry forward, and then our guys took up the business, presenting a new comedy series “Star Court”, the premiere of which has already taken place.
If we talk about the plot of the series, it tells us the story of the popular actor Dmitry Petrovsky, who is loved by fans, journalists and in general he bathes in the rays of glory, like the same Johnny Depp. More recently, he lived under the same roof with pretty (read – to the limit sexy) actress Marina Khrumkina, who accuses her husband of being a brawler and in general a very bad person. And journalists need just that: the more scandalous the report, the more attention and views.
So between Petrovsky and Khrumkina begins a long legal battle and this is just a great option for a little-known dubious actress to promote her name. In the courtroom, she does not talk about her former lover, presenting him as a demon. No, of course, Petrovsky himself is far from an angel, but in some places Khrumkin completely goes into the distance along with his fantasies, and this suggests that the hero urgently needs to whitewash his reputation, and in this he should be helped by both a lawyer and friends. But you can not even doubt that it is so easy not to do, and therefore begins the most interesting and, of course, funny.
The series actually comes out relevant, on topical topics. The case between Depp and Heard is just the tip of the iceberg. Right now, there's just someone who's not suing. It seems like if you haven't hired a lawyer and filed a lawsuit, you're not a real star. And just such a card and decided to play for us the authors of this comedy. It turned out, by the way, quite plausible, despite the fact that there are quite a lot of absurd moments. We are watching comedy, not some serious drama.
In addition to the situation with Depp and Heard, Star Court is also a great satire on all our TV shows about the courts, which were very popular until recently and there are still many viewers who review these issues. The authors very well caught the style and mood of such programs, and then took and ridiculed them.
Of course, there are no perfect characters in the series, everyone has their own dark side, but the main thing is whether they will eventually come to the right moral conclusions. The same Petrovsky, like Maxim Lagashkin himself, is incredibly popular, but at the same time a man with an arrogant character. It is difficult for him to restrain himself in a critical situation, and this, of course, is remarkable. And now he has to behave quite the opposite and it is very much fun.
Well, Khrumkina, or Maria Gorban is a typical beauty with a ton of tonal cream on her face. She only wants that easy money and fame, and it seems that her image is difficult to call attractive (in terms of morality, of course), but she still arouses interest for her unforgettable grimaces, tantrums and generally eccentric behavior. And on the whole, Maria Gorban is always nice to see, the lady is pretty, plus she can play very well.
As a result, "Star Court" is a great entertaining comedy with pleasant actors and good, relevant humor. I really like, it’s interesting to follow the action happening on the screen and in general I will watch until the very end.
