A dream wedding or how to make money in London Having been released after a long imprisonment, four friends - Koschei, Kilka, Swisty and Sledgehammer, decided to organize a bank robbery and for these purposes organized a restaurant in the basement by concepts. In fact, the guys didn’t care if their business started or not. They just had to prepare well for the robbery, because the bank is right next to the restaurant and from there you can reach the coveted safe. But it so happened that the restaurant started to the full program and people came here for unforgettable impressions. In the end, Svyustry and the company decided to leave behind criminal cases and became full-fledged restaurateurs.
The series “Restaurant by concepts” has earned the love and attention of the public for a reason. It was an interesting idea and excellent implementation. Also here you can note the memorable colorful humor, great actors and generally the right morality, because the guys still decided to engage in legal business and no longer wanted to deal with what could send them back to prison. After the first season, we also saw the second, and just before the New Year, the premiere of a special issue of “Restaurant by Concepts”, which quite unexpectedly intersected with “Poor Oligarch”. Now everything is in order.
Kilka decided to help his friends pay off their debts and finally pay off the loan for the restaurant. To do this, he went into debt and made a big bet on football. But here's the bad luck, the result was not at all what Kilka expected. Now he owes a large sum of money to guys that even the unstoppable Sledgehammer fears. And to give everything, you need at least to sell the restaurant, but the characters do not want to do this, because they have invested their whole soul in the business. Koschey remembered that once he did a service to the famous Russian oligarch Viktor Andreevich Gnida, who now lives in London. Fortunately, the contacts have not gone anywhere, and the guys go straight to Albion.
The main story revolves around the wedding of the oligarch’s daughter, Elizabeth, with her lover. Naturally, the holiday will be held in the mansion of Victor, and he is ready to pay any amount, as long as the daughter was happy. And since Koschei and the company have proven themselves in the restaurant business, they will definitely find a place at the wedding. But it is only important to behave within the limits of decency and once again not to get into trouble. Everyone understands this, including Koschei himself, but how can he stand still when the charming Countess is in sight?
At first, I didn’t even believe that it was possible to combine “Restaurant by Concepts” and “Poor Oligarch” into one film, but everything turned out very well in the end. The plot looks completely unplayable, if we take, of course, the framework of both series. Heroes from the “Restaurant by concepts” are in London and it does not look like some kind of stupidity, because there are strong cause-and-effect relationships between Koschei and the oligarch, which last from the distant 90s. But as you can understand, the guys from the “Restaurant by Concepts” can not behave elegantly in high society, especially among all sorts of aristocrats and businessmen, and therefore there will be a lot of jokes and thematic “prison” humor here. Especially distinguished Koschei and Sledgehammer, however, there is nothing to be surprised. Koschei will not miss a single skirt, but only give the Sledgehammer that someone to wave.
I also liked the storyline that connects Victor with his daughter Elizabeth. A beautiful woman is about to get married, but it is very important that her father pays attention to her. Victor is ready to give her just about a million dollars, fulfills any whims, but at the same time constantly gets on the phone and banally does not have time to listen to his daughter. So here we have not only the problems of Kilka, who foolishly went into debt, but also family troubles, which in real life are faced not only by oligarchs and their children.
For me, “Restaurant by Concepts: Poor Oligarch” was a surprise that I didn’t expect to see on screens. The story came out self-sufficient and fun, with the right morality and a bunch of great jokes. Mood during viewing rises easily.
