A decent picture. First of all, I am Udmurt myself and come from Udmurtia. I really enjoyed watching the movie in my native language.
What I liked is a clear scenario, everything is logical, good and even I would say surprisingly high-quality filmed. The picture is good, clear, pleasant flower.
I liked nature – these oil rockers in abandoned villages, we really have it, really.
I really liked the heroine Aino - the type of face, cheekbones, even hair color and, sorry, the location of our eyes, Udmurt. That is, it is not a sweet chocolate model, which is a lot in other films about love. You can not call the heroine “beauty with a model appearance”, but there is definitely something in her – so honest, native. You see, you know, Aino is a village girl.
I liked the character who played the role of her father. You can see, too, that's a village dad. Honest, chauffeur apai!
With great pleasure I looked on the big screen at our 'udmurt derham' - national clothes, namely the wedding dress of the heroine. Cheberisto!
He is not a professional actor (if I am not mistaken, he is a programmer). But it's a decent job. Especially pleased and even smiled the moment of fishing - that's the same 'wow disgusting!' Honestly conveys the same incident of belli - to live in a city or a village?
The plot surrounding this issue is very relevant for Udmurtia, and any other national republics. How to stay in a village where there are no prospects and life will be hard, full of work and care? Or go to a metropolis where there will be local consumer well-being inside a concrete box in a 30-year mortgage? The author of the film wrapped the question inside a very interesting line - the love of a high school student, to whom the exam and the education system put a choice: either love, or the prospects of life in the city. Very relevant, I understand and feel the acuteness of this question (unfortunately, there is no good answer to it in the current political situation).
What I didn’t like was the finale left me confused, I didn’t fully understand what had happened. Then they told me and everything fell into place. But from the side of the unprepared viewer, the finale will leave more puzzled questions than answers.
