Saving lives every day Ambulance is an American, medical, action-packed, dramatic television series that has been filmed for 15 years and has 15 seasons. This series for me is the best about the work and life of doctors. The series turned out to be very rich, interesting. Heroes are all different, but real professionals and doctors with a capital letter.
This is Chicago County Hospital. Here we see the work of different doctors, saving lives, various unexpected moments and emergencies. We have before us the hard work and personal life of the doctors of this district hospital.
This TV series touches on many topical issues, such as HIV and AIDS, Down syndrome, Parkinson's disease, the topic of homosexuality in society, relationships between doctors and patients, relationships between doctors and interns, various intrigues between colleagues, discrepancies in scientific views, the topic of incurable disease and how to live, learning about it. We have a large-scale, action-packed story, and each series is like a real film. The series looks with great pleasure, and after it is difficult to find the same delightful and strong series.
The characters of the series are all different, and everyone tries to understand, feel their work and different situations. The series deals with the topical topic of euthanasia, and many characters have their own opinions on this sensitive topic. There are many difficult situations that give food for thought. Events in the series take place not only in the hospital itself, but also in the areas of the city, we also see the story of Dr. Carter in Africa and the horrific situation there.
It is very difficult to choose a favorite hero, because there are many interesting and wonderful doctors, students, nurses in "Ambulance". Once I remembered this series as a child, I watched it with great pleasure this year. I love seasons 1 through 11. 12-14 was already not so action-packed and dramatic, then the last 15 season was again chic and interesting with the return of doctors who had already left the hospital.
Beginning to watch "Ambulance", of course, from the first season of all doctors stands out Dr. Mark Green. He is played by American actor Anthony Edwards. This hero is a real man of his profession, he is devoted to it and is an excellent, wonderful doctor with a capital letter. Everyone listens to his opinion, and he is a kind of glue that holds everyone around him around him.
His temperamental best friend and pediatrician Duck Ross plays handsome George Clooney. His hero is a womanizer and enjoys great success with women. He's a good doctor, but sometimes he oversteps the rules and orders of other doctors. Duck Ross is a controversial personality, and often his decisions in treating patients put the hospital in difficult, delicate situations.
Cherry Stringfield plays Dr. Susan Lewis. Perhaps her character is still my favorite. Susan is a wonderful doctor, a positive person and just a charming, bright woman. She is understanding and always kind, in any extreme situation remains a true professional. A wonderful doctor and a wonderful, beloved character!
The surgeon with golden hands Peter Benten plays Eric La Salle. His hero is on his mind, but he's dedicated to his profession and he's an amazing doctor. Against the background of his work, we see how dramatically his life develops, and fate always presents various trials. I love this character too.
His student, and then the beautiful future doctor John Carter plays Noah Wylie. What can you say about the “Carter”? It is his hero who is closest to the viewer, because it is with him that we go through this series and learn all the tricks and the work of medicine and saving lives. Carter is a very good man and an excellent doctor. This is where I would go for medical help.
Julianne Margulies plays the soulful and understanding nurse Carol Hathaway. Her character is a wonderful nurse and a good woman. She tries to do something good all the time, to help a person for free, doing very often psychological help, although this is not her job, and sometimes visited patients at home. She is dedicated to her work and has often gone beyond what she has to do and done much more.
Carrie Weaver is played by Laura Innes. This doctor looks fragile, but she's a real person. Behind her deceptive appearance hides willpower and spirit, self-confidence, professionalism and toughness. Carrie seems like a cold, cynical bitch to most, but her character is very deep and complex. I love this heroine, and for some reason I always worried much more for her, but I always knew that she would achieve what she wanted.
Well, I can’t help but say a few words about Alex Kingston, who played the surgeon Dr. Elizabeth Corday. Her Brit is so natural, lively, kind. Very interesting personality, unshakable and amazing doctor with a capital letter.
Other important doctors and main characters are played by Mora Tierney (a kind and cute nurse who will become a doctor), handsome Goran Visnic (doctors from Croatia), Ming-Na, Gloria Ruben (her character had AIDS, you are very worried about her when watching and you want her to be good). Young doctors after the middle of the series play Mekhai Fifer, Parminder K. Nagra, Shane West, and nurses, some of whom played from the very 1 season to 15, play Laura Seron, Yvette Freeman, Linda Cardellini and Ellen Crawford.
In this medical series a bunch of guest, world stars for minor roles. I was particularly pleased to see Sally Field (winner of two Academy Awards for Best Actress). Her character was mentally ill and emotionally ill, Sally Field played her perfectly. I also remember in small roles of patients such movie stars as Cynthia Nixon, Ray Liotta and Louise Fletcher.
The personal lives of doctors and nurses are all intertwined, and here is the exciting, long history of Chicago County Hospital. Some of the series were so amazing that I want to watch them again. "Ambulance" - a series that is in the list of favorite television series in the world cinema. It was shot qualitatively and very interesting. Over the years, I'm happy to revisit this massive, medical history. This series has everything the viewer needs.
Awesome series! Thank you.
