human YouTube Algorithms and a Quiet Carefree Night The first is nothing more than a booked road to the unknown Internet, and the second is perhaps the most wonderful time to watch something cinematic. And now at the crossroads of this space-time in my sight gets a short film “It seems, forever.”
Contrary to its name, this picture is unlikely to take its place in my pantheon of eternal works. But it is not about this, in fact, but about a feeling so fleeting and at the same time absolutely not weathered, whether it is the whirlwind of years or the wind of change. Adolescent, romantic and innocent – that is exactly how each of us will remember this once magical moment. And the short film Alena Oleynik, in turn, acts as a film time capsule, where this feeling is carefully preserved and packaged in the wrapper of the film.
Here you and romantic symbolism with a photo of a girl on a smartphone at the heart, and the contrast with the older brother, exchanging girlfriends in the manner of gloves, and most importantly – a selective selection of sensual songs that complement the already heart-wrenching vibe of the work. A separate mention is worthy of an introductory quote, which has something bookish and sublime, which perfectly sets the tone for the next 17 minutes, which are themselves in a kind of audio-visual poetry.
And because of all this, viewing a short metric is akin to digging out the above-mentioned time capsule, since it awakens from a deep sleep nothing at all nostalgic, how deep and so light, eternal.
