Who says there are no miracles left in the world? In life, sometimes it happens that there are disagreements between spouses, and they believe that their best moments are far behind. The situation can even get to a divorce! And this despite the fact that the couple have children and generally from the outside it may seem that they have everything in the family is perfect. That’s just such a difficult situation faced by the heroes of the new comedy “7 days, 7 nights”, which caused me exceptionally positive emotions and warm feelings, because it says that true love never goes away – it can only for the time being, for the time being lurk.
The plot of the film tells us the story of Olga (Zoya Berber) and Sergey (Sergei Marin), whose marriage is literally at the seams. No matter what they do, no matter what they say, but literally out of nowhere they can arrange a quarrel, because of which everything around thunders and collapses. Of course, this situation is not very good considering the fact that their children Anton (Egor Nikolaev) and Nastya (Sophia Petrova) also live in the apartment with them. And the most interesting thing begins here exactly when Nastya’s birthday approaches, and at the same time her father, a professional photographer, receives an invitation to a very important photo shoot that will take place in Armenia.
Naturally, Nastya’s mother believes that Sergey, as always, will go to work and put the next shoot above his loved ones. Because of this, completely unnecessary quarrels and disagreements arise again, which Nastya does not like at all and she decides to act. Having collected all the money that she managed to save, the girl buys herself, her mother and her brother tickets for the same plane on which the father goes to Armenia. And it is easy to guess that he is literally in shock at what his business trip can turn into. But you don’t want to, and to return loved ones back to the city will not work, and in the end, Sergei for a couple with his wife and children is in sunny Armenia, where he also visits the real Armenian, which lasts no less than one week. This means that the heroes will have to go through a lot of adventures and again remember what is most important in life.
Despite the fact that the film raises a rather serious and deep problem of mutual understanding within marriage, which lasts for many years and disagreements arise more often than smiles. The film was positive and life-affirming. Yes, we met Sergei and Olga not at the best moment of their family life, and yet an unexpected vacation in Armenia literally becomes a life-saving circle for them, which they are happy to accept. Yes, maybe not everything went smoothly at first and the couple took up their favorite occupation, namely disputes and unnecessary quarrels, and nevertheless they gradually remember why they fell in love with each other and why they were together for so long despite all the problems accumulated in everyday life.
And why is there only a unique Armenian wedding, around which a rather important part of this story revolves? This is now very rare, because few people in the modern world pay tribute to traditions so zealously. However, it is this event that Sergey and his wife and children get to, and it is definitely worth seeing. Here you can easily rub calluses on two legs during dancing, and there are so many treats and goodies that they literally break the table. And that's not all. Believe me, there will be plenty of Armenian color here, thanks to which the plot played with unexpected bright colors.
I also liked how in the plot of the fantasy Nastya gradually become a reality. The girl has a huge imagination and created a fairy tale with her parents in the center of the story. In her stories, her father struggles with monsters and accomplishes feats, and something similar also happens in Armenia, where the heroes turned out to be. So gradually fictional pictures become reality, and the fairy tale becomes part of the life of this unusual, but still very nice family.
“7 Days, 7 Nights” is a great family comedy, which shows us that all contradictions and disagreements can and should be resolved. Yes, in life sometimes it is difficult and it seems that it is better to take and stop everything behind, but family and love - this is what should always be in the first place. Have a good look.
