Couldn't reveal it, so why film it? All creativity has to be entertaining or thought-provoking, and sometimes creators manage to combine these things. I was waiting for this little dock to try to show the impact of technology on our lives, asking the right and important questions and trying to answer them.
What is in this dock?
The least evil is the advertising of Yandex services. I think it is obvious that it is present, but on such timekeeping it is slightly more than expected.
The main character tries to escape from the modern way of society by switching to a button phone. It faces obvious difficulties. Experts flicker in the background, saying obvious things in clever words. The end.
Honestly, that's not what I expected from the dock. It looks like it was taken off to take it off. Like it's not a doc, it's a YouTube vlog. Oh, on Zen, are you guys still using Zen?
'Social Dilemma' from Netflix is much more cognitive, makes you think and possibly changes someone’s life, even if there are shortcomings. Here the creators should be praised only for the high-quality picture and not boring visual presentation. The script and the very essence are about nothing.
But everything can be fixed by bringing the audience in the final to the question ' Do you feel dependent on technology?' or even better ' How do we live with it all?' Just questions that the viewer will think about, which will be discussed. But no, unfortunately, the ending is also blurred. The main character understood something for himself, but what exactly? What's he getting at? How he was influenced by this experiment. He talks about it casually, left in his smartphone, in his work. .
