The day didn't work from the beginning. That’s how the movie starts, according to the title. Well, a man came to a tiny town that can't even be called that, there are fifty people there, and then in the best of times. Sand and rocks.
What could happen in the Wild West if it ended in 1920? Please discard the classic western at once. Shots here do not rattle, there are no Indians in sight, trains are not robbed.
So what then? Thriller and detective, of course! Well, as rightly noted in other reviews, "textbook on conflictology." It is from the side of tension, the desire to know how the case will end, and what it is, this is the case in general, the film is beautiful. In some ways, even Conan-Doylewski.
But fans of the classics may not like it. They're shooting less than ten times. Seriously. Maybe that’s why I didn’t fully appreciate this movie. But the pleasure of watching, of course, received, although I did not look what I expected.
