Good old-fashioned thriller? Only after watching this unfortunate picture came to an important discovery: not only now we are fed thrillers without persecution, horror films without fear, drama without tears and “ridiculous” comedies, from which facial expressions do not change as when watching a carpet, instead of television.
It turns out that on the example of the “break of patience”, the essence of cinema opens: boring low-budget pictures were shot until the 00s.
This movie was chosen from tens of hundreds of thousands of American glorious time of the warm 90s for one reason only - Kiefer Sutherland.
He has a small role, just like the character he plays. The responsibility and importance of his hero is as small as the time given to Sutherland Jr.
The focus is on a story devoid of absolutely any logic of actions: a husband and wife at the very beginning of the film have oral sex.
Oh, I think the beginning smells like soft porn. But it's not all dirt. The story is boring and silly down to the simple: why did the couple break up? What treason did her husband suspect? The woman will take revenge or ask for help from the police (the whole film she is tossed between these 2-mind decisions).
As for the cast other than Kiefer, the actors are scary and their characters are disgusting to the point where it doesn’t matter who dies in the movie or who stays alive. For so empty a movie in terms of a thriller (where is the tickle of nerves and maniacs?) and in the storyline (the actions of the characters are absolutely devoid of logic both in revenge and in the way of hiding from the police and the law).
