- This is against common sense... - Contradicts common sense? This whole flight is meaningless! You know how it happens, sometimes you stumble upon a film that is little known not only in our country, but even at home and let the description, and with it the rating is not set up in a positive way, but something pushes you to get acquainted with the film closer. Something barely perceptible, to follow how a small child does not want to go to bed early on the New Year, because from minute to minute Santa Claus should come and bring gifts. So here, in your mind, you understand that most likely such a film will disappoint you, but your heart believes that maybe everything will not be so bad and the film will be albeit a one-off, but quite a good spectacle and what the hell is no joke, suddenly there will be an interesting idea? It was with these thoughts that I sat down to watch today’s film and my expectations were met, but only partially. So this is the Secret Bunker. Welcome!
An alternative future that fortunately will never come. The Armstrong passenger plane, stylized as the F-117 Nighthawk, is piloted by strange people who seem to love each other and hate each other at the same time. The cargo is no less strange passengers among whom there are people who are trying to escape from their past, and therefore took a one-way ticket to a country from which there is no return, as well as a girl who was raised in a bio-laboratory, the whole meaning of her life is to become an organ donor for the one who pays the most. And how this vehicle is driven by a strange coincidence crashes in a strange place where the daily temperature exceeds the mark of fifty degrees Celsius. However, the crash in such inhospitable terrain is far from the main problem of our heroes, not even one of the main ones. And the main problem is that the plane landed near the repository of a dangerous biological virus that drives people crazy and causes people to kill those whom he recently called a friend. Am I the only one who thinks there's too much weirdness in this movie?
Discarding sarcasm and evil irony, I want to say that in the picture there were indeed interesting developments. Here and the fact that the characters of the picture are not wooden dummies whose task is to die in the most cruel way in a strictly allotted period of time, but something more. Here is the captain of the ship, who pretends to be an indifferent and evil person, but towards the end of the picture you realize that he cares. Here is a drug addict who is tired of the indifference and hatred of his patients, and therefore decided to go to a place where there are practically no living people, and where a kind doctor can do what all people in his situation do - safely drink. There is a donor girl who does not have a full-fledged personality, but at the same time she, like any living creature, wants to live. Let’s add to this the fact that the film was invited quite good actors who, miraculously, play, not crooked and the viewer gets interesting and memorable characters who want to empathize... or not? Unfortunately, no. And the thing is that we know little about the characters obscenely, yes, good screenwriters endowed them with good dialogue, but the people in this film do not actually interact with each other, and everything I wrote above is the reflections of the main character and if they were not, then the viewer would at all appear well-playing dummy without personality and character.
I would also like to say something good about the story, but it doesn’t work. And I can't do that, for the simple reason that I haven't been able to determine whether the picture is set on Earth or whether we're already on Mars. Yes, of course, the characters a couple of times mention the fact that they are on earth, but here the thing is that it is customary to name any planet on which a person appears, unless, of course, in the context of the sentence, such words as “Cradle of Humanity” or “Home” flashed. Then yes, it's about the Earth. In the same picture, nothing contributes to the fact that the Earth is before us. Why should I? Temperatures above fifty degrees Celsius even in the desert? It is impossible to live in such a place! What by the way, the heroes did not fail to say, and therefore, after throwing jackets, they decided to go out into the fresh air at night. Um, you know, I've always wondered, what were the marks that Hollywood writers had at school, college or, I'm sorry, university? Something tells me it's not very tall. Why? Well, you see what it is, it is very hot in the desert during the day, but at night it becomes quite cool and thanks to this there is at least some life in the desert. Imagine how cold it must be at night in a place where the earth warms so much and is replaced by cold winds. The meaning of bacteriological weapons left by someone is also unclear. If they wanted to spray it, they would have sprayed it twenty times, and if they wanted to destroy it, they would have destroyed it. After all, infected people do not become stronger, smarter or more enduring. They only convert others to their “faith,” but the “victims” can still make their own decisions, which is strange. After all, if a person is able to think, then he can try to lure former friends to his side, rather than throwing an axe at the latter.
In fact, a lot more could be said about the film. For example, toy machines were used instead of real equipment. Instead of a real passenger plane or, even better, a spacecraft, a single stealth aircraft was used, which is not to the village or the city. The fights were put surprisingly clumsy, and the camera in the hands of the operator and does walk a walker. And the budget of the picture, what a sin to hide was three-kopeck. But all this is equivalent to hitting a bedridden man, and I don't accept that. Ultimately, I knew what I was going to do, I knew the movie was likely to be incomprehensible and stupid, so it's a sin to complain about. On the other hand, “The Secret Bunker” does not cause irritation or boredom, which is characteristic of its fellow genre, and therefore I will say this: if you are looking for a fantastic action movie without claims to artistic value, in order to pass the evening or in anticipation of an important meeting, you can watch this film with one eye. In other cases, I would still advise to refrain from watching.
