Kissing before death Eh, the eighties... How much does this decade mean for real moviegoers? After all, this is not just a time period, but a time of bold experiments, special effects that did not replace the essence of the films, but complemented it well, good actors playing their roles perfectly.
“Kiss” Pen Densham – one hundred percent representative of the genre of “horror” of the late eighties. It has everything that the viewer wants to get from the film by reading the annotation to it. After the death of Amy’s mother, Aunt Felice comes to her and her father, with whom no one has previously communicated. Felice is stunningly beautiful, her photo does not come off the covers of “Cosmopolitan”, and she has a funny cat. She soon seduces her dead sister’s husband and tries to gain Amy’s trust, but after the strange deaths of her close friends, she begins to suspect that something is wrong with her aunt. And she's right about that!
Joanna Pacula as Aunt Felice is beautiful. Every movement expresses eroticism, every look is full of languor, and in her eyes there is a challenge and a threat. Meredith Salenger is also very nice in the role of Amy, the role of a teenager in transition with a sharp change of mood, worried about her family, she succeeded. The rest of the actors played exactly as much and exactly what was required of them.
I also liked the atmosphere of the film, its mood, the manner of shooting.
The only thing I was able to find fault with a little bit was to rock too long before going into action. I wanted more events on the screen. But the ending fully justified her waiting time.
A good picture that is nice to see before bed. “The Kiss” reminded me of the film “Lunatics” in 1992, which I really love, so I recommend watching.
