We are all chasing something one way or another. The TV movie “Tornado” shows the viewer what a picture of Ian DeBont Twister would look like with a budget tending to zero. It is noteworthy that both tapes came out almost simultaneously.
According to the plot: several specialists are trying to get into the zone of occurrence of tornadoes in order to dig a physical measurement device into the ground on the path of the vortex (the same orange pan, only here it is called “Patty”), this device will have to transfer information to scientists, but some obstacles arise before the heroes.
In comparison with “Tornado”, twice nominated for an Oscar, the film is unusually “nothing”. Sluggish flirtation, empty chatter, somehow revealing to us the uncomplicated personal problems of the heroes, inexpressive actors, lazily drifting around the screen ... Do not count on any special effects at least until the middle of the film, and later they will show only a vague piece of haze and a couple of flying boards. There is no clear musical design either. I do not recommend wasting time on this movie, because neither depth nor even entertainment in it is not in sight.
