Who are your parents? I love our perestroika film, about 1985-1988. Such great films as: “The Shooter”, “Pulp Talent”, “Primorsky Boulevard”, “Presumption of Innocence”, “The Courier” can be reviewed again and again. Even at that time there were several paintings of a special genre, I do not know how to properly characterize it, I will say simply about the majors and social inequality. This movie is one of them. It is very similar to the movie "Publication", almost one in one.
So, "Seduction" is a social drama about majors. I don't like movies like that. They're negative. Yes, they show life as it really is. But I want to watch the movie to relax and relax. Why watch what you see in life every day? It's good that times have changed a little. Of course, even now there are majors who study in closed schools, then enter the best universities here and abroad. But despite this, the average person has the opportunity to achieve something. Open your own small business store for example or a cafe. This kind of business can be opened by almost any ordinary person. Or study very well and then get a good job. Yes, it is possible to get into the director without influential relatives, but it is quite possible to have a not bad position.
At the time of the release of this film, an ordinary young man, if his parents are not academics, doctors of sciences or employees of Raicom, had no chances to get out in people, get a good job, there was no chance at all. 220 p salary, spinning a ram or nuts at the machine, this is its limit.
The film is saturated with despair, after watching there is a very negative residue. The main character Zhenya, a beautiful girl, she is ashamed of her social position, poverty, the stripped apartment in which she lives with her mother. She likes a boy from the upper classes. In order to get closer to him, she begins to impersonate someone she is not. Deceives the three main majors of the class to get into their circle.
- "Who's your dad?"
- Director of the Research Institute -
- "And your mother?"
- "Head of the Department" -
"Listen, Jeka, you're all right."
Can you blame her for that? I guess not. How is she worse than them? Only by the fact that her parents divorced (by the way, her father is also from the “elite”, the car “eight”, the apartment is “stuffed” and all things), but she lives with her mother, who is an ordinary woman. And an apartment where she is ashamed to invite her classmates and one red jacket out of clothes. But she deserves the best in her opinion, she is beautiful, has a good body - there is an episode in which she looks at herself naked in the mirror. You can see from her face that she is happy with herself.
She likes a boy whose mother is a cleaner. He's a future hard worker. Of course, she neglects him, ignores his feelings. What's her future with him? She wants a beautiful life. I don't know if you can blame her for that. It's not for me to judge. By the way, you can clearly see how the same girl can be completely different. With one guy it is affectionate and loving, and with another - a cold bitch.
Now, as for the three major majors. Valya Zhukova, a girl with bruises under her eyes, looks more like a cake seller than the daughter of a Raicom employee. Canarykina is an easily accessible simpleton. And then there's Sonya, who looks like a major. Especially at the end of the film, where she is in "means", the makeup is a typical glamorous girl.
What came out of all this, whether the main character penetrates into the “elite” circle, whether she will have a happy relationship with a rich boy, you will see watching this film.
I've been thinking for a long time about what to grade. Due to the negative rainfall, I will not put more than 7. I will not put less, too, it hurts the beautiful main character.
7 out of 10
