The Wayans brothers tandem at the dawn of the early 2000s tried to please more. Comedies grew like mushrooms after the rain, and the brothers wanted to save their careers. “White Chickens” was conceived as an anointing for Billy Wilder’s classic “Only Girls In Jazz”, but Kinen Ivory added the usual “Nigger” humor, put the comedy of dressing up and tried to play along on modern comedies. Four years earlier, Raja Gosnell’s Big Mommy’s House came out. Immediately Sean and Marlon in the image of white girls began to look ... repulsive.
From the exposition, we are introduced to a comic situation and present the roles of brothers. It's like comedies about cops, but with the usual Wayans element. Situations with the capture of criminals reduce the guys to the last task. And it's not like Dominic Toretto's last race, it's a really important investigation that shouldn't fail. The film sticks out jokes everywhere, and at first it works, but soon it gets boring. Logic is not worth looking for, it is still a typical comedy where Marlon even tries to sleep funny.
The key turn with the protection of the sisters gives a new batch of stereotypes and stamps. Rich kids of powerful parents compete with other rich kids, but that’s where the transformation takes place. How do you get girls to attend an important event? Think of Billy Wilder. In this vein, the picture is frightening. Images of chicks look scary, although the plot everywhere wraps them in humor.
Key moments with meetings with the sisters' friends, confrontation with the opponent and her team, to convey through unusual and amazing for everyone who knew the sisters, actions. Morality: attention, care, love. In this vein, Marlon’s family relationships are played out, attempts to get acquainted with the girl from Sean and, in general, the influence of changing clothes on the lives of others is beautifully presented. And also entertains his image Terry Crews.
Such films follow a familiar pattern that first entices with a joke, demonstrates the typical female joys and bitterness when we see men in female, and then demonstrates the influence of both sides on each other. Girlfriends help to understand situations, and men win a dance battle, stop criminals, protect others. Over time, you get used to the makeup of Sean and Marlon, and the detective story, which everyone unexpectedly forgot in the second act of the narrative, suddenly falls before the climax and exposure.
Comedy is just for easy viewing, now this is not removed and not removed for a long time. But nostalgia for such small things on the screen sometimes makes you go through the movies and find something from the past. I don’t know who this project will suit better. It's about boys for girls and girls for boys. Because everyone has their flaws.
Another great comedy from the Wayans brothers. You can immediately see that these are ambitious, creative actors without complexes and any prejudices.
Humor is very light, relaxed, without excessive vulgarity and offensive jokes. It is nice that jokes about everyone: without national, gender and other differences.
All three brothers creatively and meticulously approached their work: the script is thought out (even the love line is drawn through the prism of the main idea of the film and brought to the right track at the end). There are no questions at the end of the film, about the fate of each hero we know.
At times, the film seems disgusting, but it is not disgusting, as in horror, but hyperbolically disgusting to the ridiculous. And curves on a date, and the behavior of the main characters in a different role, and fights.
Special respect should be expressed to artists and make-up artists who not only managed to do incredibly difficult work, but also to show some secrets of make-up for the sake of preserving the integrity of the plot. The work is really colossal done: turning two black guys into two white blonde girls is incredibly cool.
The writers’ attention to detail has led to episodes in which they ironically talk about standard women’s secrets – and then how not to begin to understand women?
The film paid for itself very coolly, and people review it more than once: this already suggests that the film is worth returning to.
10 out of 10
Two brother cops are very trying at work, willingly take the initiative in their own hands, carefully plan everything, but time after time everything goes wrong: some ridiculous oversights prevent you from achieving results.
From despair, you have to take on the case of two glamorous blonde sisters who go to the annual social gathering, and whom on a tip should be kidnapped.
Another series of absurdities - and two black guys become white blondes.
Naturally, the world of the highest white girl society is new to them - so the abundance of next delusional situations will not take long to wait.
Given the amazing plasticity of the Wayans brothers and their comedic talents, it is very funny. I think it would be better to play such a scenario. The scenario is not the strongest, but in fact there is a pleasant feeling that everything is appropriate and justified.
You don’t have to be a moviegoer to see references to “Only Girls In Jazz”, “Carrie” and a couple of classic films – and watching this game with American classics is also quite funny.
In general, “White chicks are by no means clumsy nonsense, not a parody, but a worthy film, if you are in the subject of American black (in the sense of African-American) and near-bottom humor like “Without feelings”, etc.
The best way to understand women, or the other gender, is to completely try on the skin of a particular person. I do not believe in such things as female logic or similar nonsense, since among representatives of both sexes there are their own “distinctive cadres”.
The movie is definitely not bad. It is full of humor, curious situations and all sorts of funny game. To get a better feel for the whole atmosphere, it would be useful to watch it in the original. Because in the original, all changes in voice, behavior, copying someone else's character will be much easier to catch and the degree of hilariousness will only jump.
Surprisingly well suited the figure of the Wayans brothers and makeup lay smoothly. Their style: these tights, shoes and sweaters - well, just lie under the table, laugh and don't get up. They made the movie themselves and they were great. Personally, I think it's the best movie they've put their energy, their money and their imagination into.
He played the plot on the stupidity of the original blondes, on the contradiction of the handsome black man who despises African Americans, on the jealousy of Marcus’ wife. Riding with laughter with the pursuit of a purse from Prada, in the toilet, in the beach scenes and the scene in the restaurant (albeit in a particular scene was a little too much).
The music of two genres - rap and pop - perfectly set the very atmosphere of situations. Actors and actresses are amazing. When the main agents communicated only a couple of minutes with blondes and managed to catch all their habits to the smallest detail, jealous women in surveillance mode and subsequent execution, wild explosions while shopping.
For me, there was a slight disadvantage that the camera lens kept too close to or around the characters themselves, well, there was no bird-flight view. The vulgarity was too much at pyjama gatherings with friends, too clearly and dirty.
I really liked the movie. I watched it more than 5 times, both in the original and a couple of times not in the original. Relax, laugh from the heart - a win-win option. And for family, and for a group of friends, it fits everywhere.
The comedy made by the three Wayans brothers is simply gorgeous. Positive, life-loving and very funny film, which will remain even the most grumpy person in a good prefix.
People! Let the whale go back to the ocean!
- Dr. Freud! Baba Vanga! Help!
Permanently fined FBI agents (two brothers African-American) decide on the main mission - to protect the two Wilton sisters, from kidnapping. Oh, how hard it is, according to this, the brothers come up with a plan - to hide the sisters in a secluded place, and change their clothes and make up in them. All we have to do is convince the world. . .
"You've got the wrong blonde this morning!"
Let's move on to the pluses of Keenenen's film project Ivory Wayans, "White Chickens."
Ooh. This really funny humor, kind, warm, funny atmosphere. The Wayans brothers trio and the rest of the cast, acting facial expressions and emotions. Musical accompaniment.
Let's move on to the minuses of Keenenen's film project Ivory Wayans, "White Chickens."
I have not noticed a single negative.
"Wash your nose, cocaine girl."
I would like to praise the Wines brothers (they really tried), but this is not a letter of praise. A great foreign comedy of 2004, and how relevant... Be sure to look with your family, and give a good mood to yourself and your loved ones. I recommend "White Chickens" for family viewing.
When friends ask for advice on a comedy, I always first recommend white chicks.
Year after year, I never tire of reviewing this light, funny, but still a little stupid comedy.
This comedy reflects the gender difference, as well as financial well-being, golden youth, accustomed to living in the first class and having the best. This is a colorful, dynamic and interesting film. It’s fun to watch two guys feel like they’re in women’s shoes. Especially in the shoes of stupid, rich blondes! I'm mostly repulsed by the vulgarity in the movies, but it's just right here. Here and an interesting plot, and funny jokes and excellent actors well recreated the rich and absurd atmosphere.
I am looking forward to reviewing and revising this film. He'll never get bored!
Guys dress up as girls - it's been a hundred times (think Big Mommy's House). FBI agents Kevin and Marcus have failed their operations and are given a new mission: to protect two sisters who are going to a white-only fashion party. Along the way, they get into a minor accident. One sister broke her lip and the other scratched her nose. Since they can’t go to a party like this, Kevin and Marcus have no choice but to replace these girls. They make up for their sisters and go straight there.
The humor here is good (not all). There was only one scene that was disgusting to me: Tiffany (I think it was Tiffany) doing his ... erkhm ... chores in the toilet. We can see her legs crooked and stretched. Everything is accompanied by appropriate sounds. The Americans do, though. Basically, humor was normal, some jokes I frankly laughed at (which is not peculiar to me).
Game of actors. Who doesn’t remember the Wayans brothers who played Melky and Ray in Scary Movie? And then they decided to try themselves as glamorous girls. I'll tell you right away, they did it. So much so that the best friends of the girls could not distinguish them from the real ones. Although it was incredible not to distinguish, despite 7 hours every day in the dressing room. The girls turned out to be too manly, shouldery and strangely hardy (I remember chasing the guy who stole the purse). Yes, and they fight too ... er ... Van Dammeski. But it is very difficult to turn African-American men into girls. I would give the artists 10 points.

Minus a point for an unoriginal idea, minus another point for nominations for the Golden Raspberry.
This Is What Happens When The Olsen Sisters Give Up
How the great brake watched this freaking comedy only... this year, although I was praised immediately after the release. Then I was confused by the name, and now I realized that the praise was not in vain. I don’t know what embarrassed the Olsen sisters, but their absence in the film it almost worsened, in general they have their “empire” is not clear what they did, their “comedy-melodramas” about THEM, boring girl stories about relationships with guys.
According to the plot of the film “Chickens”, it is believed that the Wilton sisters are a reference to the real Hilton sisters, then the rivals of these twin sisters Heather and Megan quite mean a reference to the Olsen sisters, who fortunately did not participate in the film.
As for the cast itself, Karen liked it very much, the whole trio of friends was very nice and simple within the framework of the society in which the action took place. Of course, the black actors who played “blondes” became the main trump cards of the film. Since much, if not all, depends on the director, I believe that the main reason for the success of the film was its director, Keenenen Wines. He was the director of the first and best part of “Scarce Movie”. He has moderately vulgar jokes and just a perfectly built plot, which I want to retell or highlight in the review, which happens to me not often. It is a pity that after “Shaloon” Keenenen no longer appears as a director and it is quite possible that the 5th part of “Scary Movie” will, of course, be inferior in terms of humor and interesting plot.
Summing up, you can see that many jokes really have similarities with the old legendary movie “Only Girls In Jazz”. Especially in this sense, I was struck by a black athlete in White Chickens who decided to stick to a “lightened” chick. Very unusual and original, no offense. It was all so authentically and amusingly filmed, simple and easy, with no "back thoughts." I want to emphasize this, because it is not so often you see such an interpretation and metamorphosis shot by a black director. My respects to the director also for casting Locklyn Munro as the actor’s agent, who played in the first part of Scary Movie. He may not be the coolest actor, but I admire those directors who are trying to invite the actors they have worked with to their new films.
I'm so glad I accidentally spotted this comedy on a movie search! It is not often possible to spend so much fun almost two hours. I laughed from the beginning to the end of the film. I liked him for a lot of reasons. So, in order.
1. From the very first minutes in the film you see a fight and a bunch of funny moments. As an impatient person, a spectacular beginning seems to be the main plus of the film. No 20 minutes of boring viewing of events trying to "start" or "turn around."
2. Soundtrack. A very skillfully selected soundtrack is the second main plus of any film. Although White Chickens mostly uses the most popular songs of 2004, they are a great fit and convey all the cheerful mood of the frame, and sometimes contribute to its lifting.
3. The cast. Oh, that's really cool. The Wayans brothers first. Very spectacular guys, and why, at first glance at them it becomes clear – “cool comedy is waiting for you”) Secondly, I was glad that finally, comedy is not familiar comedians like Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence and Wil Smith. Supporting actors are also impressive.
4. Absolutely different characters of the main characters. Two brothers, a bore who thinks he's cool and a mere jovial. And their little quarrels with each other, so it is a look.
5. The magical transformation of boys into girls. This topic may be as old as the world, but it’s comedies like this that are fun the most. I especially liked the way the guys were transformed—the scariest transformation I’ve ever seen in a movie like this (and I wondered why the sisters were the main characters, so scary, apparently, to fit in). Also, personally, I am funny to watch how the characters, being in a female guise, suffer tantrums of girlfriends about excess weight, the lack of a suitable size of a beautiful dress and other “trifles”.
6. Another clichéd theme is "Dumb Blondes." I can't help but mention it! It always makes me so happy!
7. The "dance fight" scene at the club. For this 5+ to all old comedies and especially this one.
8. Spectacular, unexpected and very touching end, which is always present and leaves a last pleasant impression before you see the credits.
“White Chickens” is one of the few “good old comedies” like “Big Mommy’s House”, “Chicken”, “Freaky Friday”, which shot until 2009 and shot much better than now.
One of those that can be reviewed several times and always enjoy watching.
And laugh!!!
