And yet, hope remained... This series came across about 8 years ago, and quite by chance ... and could not come off. The story of the main character really touched to the core.
The plot is actually lifelike. The only “minus” (and maybe it is not “minus”) – the screenwriters immediately heaped together all the problems that can occur in a person’s life, and at once “pushed” on the poor heroine. I suppose that they just wanted to show how strong a Russian woman can be, but still, in my opinion, a little too much.
Poor Hope immediately, at one time, had to survive the betrayal of her husband, and the betrayal of her best friend, and the humiliation from the sale of burnt vodka in the market, and the scam of a friend-criminal with his “sister”-swindler (as a result, the loss of a roof over her head), and life as a homeless woman.
To all this, a couple of not cute children are added, who are constantly unhappy with something, although they themselves cannot understand what exactly: they do not need a mother - she allegedly "abandoned" them from her grandmother (although she herself simply had nowhere to live), they accuse the grandmother that she did not take her mother to her, then they do not need a homeless mother, then they do (but she does not want children to be homeless with her, so - again bad ... in general, the children are still "angels"). Yes, even Nadia, so that life does not seem raspberry, the screenwriters “endowed” just “charming” mother-in-law, who absolutely blames her daughter-in-law for all mortal sins.
By the way, it was from this series that I first “discovered” as an actress Nonna Grishaeva, she played here, I can say, without crooking my soul, very not bad. At the same professional level, Alexander Yatsko and Mikhail Gorevoi played - there was not a note of falsehood.
Separately, I want to note the incomparable, irreplaceable, inimitable Love Polishchuk - there are simply no words, as always. Whatever role you take on is brilliant. Even comments are superfluous.
Anna Herman also amazingly portrayed the main character, I believed her from the very beginning to the very end, worried with her, and rejoiced with her. It felt like she was in the same situation as her character. It was as if she didn’t play, but lived through all these difficulties.
In general, I can say that the series is very good, it is worth watching. No protractedness (which, by the way, is a rarity for the current domestic TV series), no "soap", no played-tear scenes - everything is very vital.
And even in the finale, although, it seems, we always expect a beautiful next happy ending (as it should be in fairy tales), here you can just notice that life is not a fairy tale, and there is no absolutely happy ending.
