Intimate services of all kinds Before us candid film director and screenwriter Everett Lewis under the title "Skin and bones". The film takes the viewer into the dark story of the life and work of gay prostitutes. We see three guys who work for the same boss. She finds her boys clients, and they must fulfill all their wishes. Three guys don't work for a mediocre essencer. This woman has her own system of intimate services. She is approached by a variety of clients with diverse wishes, and each of her boys is told what to do. We see how these guys work and what they have to go for. To engage in such a dangerous business is a slippery slope, because gay prostitutes are often beaten, killed and do with them what they want. Therefore, the story eventually gains a dramatic turn of events.
The film is independent, and it's even weird. Filmed in an unusual atmosphere and unusual style. Looking at this picture, it is as if you fall into someone else's dream, from which you want to wake up. That’s the impression I had from this film. The genre of this picture is sliding, there is drama, comedy, and eroticism. Everett Lewis’s film is bold, but it is not a good film. In some places, the cinema is muddy and puts pressure on the viewer. This is not a movie I would recommend to anyone to watch. The movie is hard and rough, dark and sometimes shocking, it is saturated with some dirt and lust, and there is nothing good in this. Watching this story, you understand that the characters are waiting for a sad end, because this is the bottom, and they can fall into the hands of any person.
The cast was unknown, and all the main roles were played by completely unknown actors, but the game was without falsehood, so everything looked convincing. In a small episodic role, it was quite unexpected to see David Arquette. I can't imagine how he got into this gay movie. But it was very funny to see in this picture. This movie is amazing and embarrassing. It's sophisticated, and there's nothing bright or good about its story. Just dirt and emptiness. From the whole film, the final scene is remembered. It was shocking and unexpected, cruel and leading to what was bound to happen sooner or later.
Skin and Bones is an independent, atmospheric, bizarre gay drama with a taste of 1996 comedy. This film is like an epilogue, a candid story of a gay man who is engaged in prostitution. It was difficult to evaluate this film, but I give it a neutral assessment, although I would never watch this film a second time.
