Well-forgotten old. Since childhood, I loved this cartoon and therefore, when I went to the site and saw how little it was appreciated (not by points (that’s just all right), but by the number of grades and reviews), I felt sadness and regret. “Bravely Dalek” is a beautiful tale of love in its long-standing, lofty concept, when feelings and intentions are direct, honest and clear. When perseverance, fearlessness and strong feeling generate reciprocity in response. Cartoon is not for young children (although they will also be funny), but for those who are on the threshold of adolescence. Although it may seem simple and naive to modern children, I prefer such naivety to the idiotic fun and slippery jokes of many modern cartoons.
For example, the same plot was played in the animated film “The Tale of the Blue Scroll” by the very respected studio “Belarusfilm”, but there the groom is no longer a direct and honest guy (albeit a little rustic), but a malachoyed jerk, and the bride is not a modest girl, but a cunning intriguer, and one of the most important moral messages of the film “Braveling” – “We do not need witchcraft, we will live” (the text is approximate) – disappeared without a trace. Here the heroes are exactly what real heroes of fairy tales should be. Guys are courageous and honest, girls are feminine and modest, parents are strict and caring, children are obedient and respectful. I deliberately tried not to say a word about the plot, because I strive never to do it in reviews, so that the impression of viewing was vivid and complete. I just invite everyone to watch this wonderful cartoon. Children - so that they touch a pure folk tale, adults - so that they briefly return to childhood.
