Blotches and their consequences It was this part, and not "Village vaudeville", often shown on TV along with some other early Russian cartoons. And I must say that although “Ah, these blinds!” show us already familiar characters, watching them in general is more interesting than “Vodeville”, because the plot is more dynamic. Which, however, does not ignore the fact that what is happening is not intriguing enough.
Repeating the oddities of the first part, “Zhmurki” show us the residents of the cattle yard familiar from Soviet cartoons, but with “advanced” names, due to which the characters themselves emphasize either the subtleties of their tastes, or high origin, or something else – it is difficult to say. All this increases the contrast. No matter what they mark, the village (in a bad sense) manners are constantly reminding themselves. On the basis of such features it was possible to build an interesting disclosure, but ... we are not led to any conclusions. “Zhmurki” is a victim of the principle of “show, but do not judge”, just as numerous Russian films of the 2000s and 2010s became. Although I'm not even sure if the cartoon needed to be condemned.
In the center of the plot again are a large chicken and her literally overseas cavalier, who loves children and fuss with them. Such good qualities provoke jealousy among other women of the court, even those who are not birds. On this basis, a conflict occurs, so absurd that it causes not laughter, but complete surprise. And also condemnation, because of the mere trifles on the main character begin to pour resentment. Who would have thought it would all start with smack? In combination with “village” life, such reproaches are perceived without excessive joy, especially since the cartoon is far from perfect. Puppet animation here, though unmoved, but as ridiculous as in many Soviet cartoons. After all, dolls, no matter how hard they try, almost always remain dolls. As well as the scenery around them.
Exceeding the first part in the tempo of the narrative, “Zmurki” remain a controversial and therefore incomprehensible project.
