Oh, that's too bad. . It's a shame they never took it off. In this cartoon, which is not destined to be - unless some miracle happens - I just immediately fell in love.
The velvet voice of Karachentsov, juicy colors, a slightly pretentious and slightly caricatured “under medieval engravings” rendering, a beautiful text: “Listen ... and remember.” Gandalf is a powerful magician, you can see immediately, dwarves are classic miners-merchants... And the song is a completely magical song: "When everything is covered with ice for eternity, when everything is covered with snow, the Earth gradually merges with the sky." And the night gradually merges with the day.
But something happened. There was not enough money, most likely, and there was no miracle, and here we do not have a cartoon that could be sad, and deep, and beautiful. But what can a brave paper, paper dragon do with a real one?
We have, of course, a Soviet naive retro film in the spirit of Rowe, a thorough and boring classic Bakshi, a box office spectacle of Jackson ... but still a pity. So sorry.
