Crime and punishment. Dramatic, even more tragic story. The main character loses his partner. Guilt and retribution prevail over Good Cop. The struggle of Good with Evil in the soul of Good Cop is gaining momentum from series to series, like an avalanche, crushing everything that comes her way. And unfortunately, evil wins.
There are enough plot lines: a married mistress and part-time nurse of the infirm father Good Cop; a former lover who returned to the city with a young daughter; establishing relations with a new partner, but I want to separate the relationship between father and son.
Every night, when Good Cop returns from his shift, he reads a book by his sick father’s bed. The plot of the book usually echoes the events occurring with the main character. Whether this is a parental instinct, or just a coincidence, but at the end, Good Cop reads to his father lines from Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment. The emotionally strong scene leaves viewers hopeful that Good Cop’s return to the bright side is possible.
For the very atmosphere of the series, for the emotional experiences of Good Cop, for his wise father, for Dostoevsky:
