Very good, positive and correct drama.

I liked everything except the number of episodes, although, in case there were fewer, the story was more clumsy.

The correct drama in the sense that it carries the message of purity of the soul.
The characters are wonderful, from the actors I know only the main character from other projects, the rest were new to me, but in their beautiful ways.

I liked the story of bread, with the fact that you can smell the quality of bread, the smell of sourdough, dough. Not everyone can take bread, depending on the intention of the baker, and the sensations after interacting with such bread are different: you can feel cold even from hot baking, if the baker inside does not feel love for his work.
There are things you can’t get out of your head after 14 years. That by doing something good, you can get the opposite result. That childhood love may not just be your childhood love. And a very big pile of thoughts appeared in my head after watching. For example, if you are third, you may well be in first place (and I am not talking about the rating system or winning competitions, though, who knows).
A good drama, to watch with appropriate thoughts and desires.

This is a drama about bread, the main wealth, which is revered among all peoples and nations without exception.

Bread is a means to satisfy hunger. Bread is a means to “warm up” from any adversity.
The theme of “bread” with a red thread runs through the whole drama, which is natural, judging by the title.
And then there is a baker who has an open heart... merciful, ready to help everyone from the heart, incapable of hatred, forgiving and loving people with unconditional love. Such a person, without any doubt, should be elevated to the image of saints. Such a person, or rather a simple-looking guy, is called Kim Tak Gu.
So Gu comes not from the word tennis, but from the words “so” – “tall” and “gu” – “saving”. I understand the meaning of his name thus: high spirit and saving souls. Kim Tak Gu is just an angel in the flesh... I would even say something akin to a prophet, who falls to a lot of trouble, and he stands firmly on his feet and does not lose the ability to smile.

Gu Ma Jun: How can you be like that? How can you keep smiling like that? Before that, everything was taken from you. How can you do that? Do you have no heart, are you stupid or do you mind?
Kim Tak Gu: "How can I be okay?" Not that I don’t know what anger is or feel unfair. And I feel a heartache, too. "

Gu Ma Jun: "Well, right?" How can you handle everything?

Kim Tak Gu: Because I have to live. As long as I'm alive, nothing's over. Just because today was good, my life is not over. Even if today was bad, my life is not over. Good and bad... Everything will pass" (c)

He seems to be facing another guy. Not an angel. But not the devil. Not good, but by and large not bad. He is confronted by an unfortunate boy who is left alone at the age of 12. His heart stiffened. And he knew no other way than to fight Kim Tak-gu. But his lost soul found peace in the end. I believed in him from the beginning, because a bad person cannot truly love. And he could.
Yun Shi Yun. I can't imagine how much I respect this incredibly talented boy. How much I love, and it is impossible to convey! I just don't know how to describe what he's doing to us when he's on screen. His heart is as warm as that of his hero. You can't play that otherwise. I admire him! I admire his character!

Joo Won. I discovered another talented actor and just a handsome man. I don't like squirrels very much, but I love them. It's hard to play contradictory - he played! He did it! It is with great pleasure that I will get acquainted with him further.

The main girls. None of them liked it. One appearance did not come out, but plays for a break. I cry with her, but as a serious contender for the heart of the hero can not take. The other looks, like, came out and plays well, but something is wrong with it... I can’t understand that... most likely the face is “evil”. .

Adults also play for a break. This book broke all my tear records. But the tears were mostly because of how good people were. And because of how much two disfigured souls can love.

The downsides of the drama became somewhat unimportant when it was over. It was just warmth on my heart... as if I had eaten the “world’s happiest bread” made by Kim Tak Gu.
On the love line, it's totally unconventional. This has not happened in all 36 dramas I have watched so far.
The 20-day epic is over. And the heart after the drama warmth and tranquility ... I love romance and love very much ... but such dramas are no less important! And it's just "must see"!

Nowadays, each of us needs a warm, freshly baked bread attitude. This drama carries that warmth. Its idea is to show how a person, our main character, deprived of everything, rises above the obstacles and deprivations of life, builds and changes himself and the people who surround him, even if it is irreversible in this respect at first glance. Stop! But it looks like a fairy tale. In search of persuasiveness, the creators overhyped everything, added a pinch of the same type of musical accompaniment, and voila - the drama begins as a typical "soap" from the actions of the characters to coincidences. Things change over the years. Literally. With adult characters, the drama reveals and presents many surprises, which are more detailed later.
Heroes and their relationships:

Author's note: The two main roles went to newcomers Ju Won and Yoon Shi Yun. It was a difficult decision, which had many opponents, but the drama won 50% of the audience rating.
1) Kim Tak Gu (Yun Shi Yun)

Writer's advice (interview): "The power of a good mood."

Shi Yoon, with his incredible smile, carried this advice through the drama. However, at first his hero did not bring strong emotions and even a little annoyed with his incontinence and rebelliousness. Against the background of his antagonist Ma Jun, he looked even a little pathetic. It's like Vanka the fool, fighting, running and crying. What is incomprehensible, where does the child of the streets get this unblemished smile (and snow-white), so much mercy and effort? I, and many, I think, too, it was unclear whether the writers confused his character with the character of the “home” Ma Juna? In the course of the drama, gaining strength and emotions like a snowball, Tak Gu became what he intended.
2) Gu Ma Joon (Joo Won) Mr. "Why not me?" and "I'm always behind you"

Writer's advice (interview): "You're absolutely not a villain, it's just, unfortunately, you were born with this fate and still don't know how to accept it, you're a pathetic person who keeps making the wrong decisions." Gu Ma Jun is a character who insists on being a good wine and does not taste its depth immediately. Ju Won is a brilliant actor for me, so he didn’t immediately turn Ma Jun in the way he really is. The character, grasping the impulse, rushed most of the drama by inertia, even realizing that it would lead to nothing, make it hurt, but could not stop. Most importantly, there was no initial motivation, except for wounded possession. His father did not order or even advise him to go to the bakery, get a certificate, find out the recipe. I thought about it, I believed it.

(3) Seo In Sook (Jon In Hwa)

The typical role of a self-serving bitch was played well. Both aristocracy and power are shown. Unlucky one who meets such a lady in life, a lady who neglects both a loving heart and the dreams of her son.
(4) Yang Mi-soon (Lee Young A)

The heroine-support, not particularly distinguished, but at the right moment playing a decisive role. Behind all these faces and insults, the main character still managed to consider what he lacked in the ambitious Yoo Kyung.
(5) Shin Yu Kyung (Yujin)

And there are devils in a quiet pool. If you save them, no Edith Piaf can save them. The heroine, who began to reveal as (typical for the eyes of dramatists) the image of an independent and all of herself such a proud girl who, if she falls in love, will faithfully wait and believe, and ended up as a gas station intriguer, which, you will agree, was unexpected.
In general, the drama strikes with the non-standard love line. At any moment, everything can turn 180 degrees if you drop a word. It was very interesting and moving to watch Yoo Kyung and Ma Joon as they began to believe in each other and become disillusioned, thaw and freeze. Sometimes more interesting than the main line of the story.
(6) Sisters Gu

The only characters who did not express anything. Whether or not they were in the picture. It didn't change anything. It seemed that they existed only to exclaim indignantly “Kim Tak Gu/Gu Ma Joon!”
The overall impression of the drama is strong. As a result, 9/10.
