Kill Forster or a few days of militia work "Strictly by Order" is a film about how the Polish resistance passed the death sentence to SS Obersturmbanführer Forster.
I love Poland and Polish movies. They're my soul mates. It’s great to watch movies in the original language (if you know the language). For example, "Va-Bank"!
With the thought of having a wonderful time and delighting my look with an imdb rating (at the time of viewing it was 7 points), I launched the viewing.
In short, I am not happy with the film.
Now on to the point.
Cinema team
Director Witold Ozhekhovsky, in addition to “Strictly by Order”, shot two more mid-rated films, for which he wrote the script. In total, his directorial asset includes 3 films + 1 series, where he participates as a co-director.
Writer. Jerzy Geraltovsky, like Witold, also wrote the script for two more films. The ratings were also not collected (although "Wolf" gained more or less good popularity).
That's all. As we understand, in this case, to get a hit film – very little chance. There are shots, though. But very rarely.
From the actors I liked Stanislav Igar and Jiri Bonchak. But their game did not save the plot of the film flat in the board.

And now the story.
Let me be clear: do not expect tension and unexpected solutions. Even the phantom at the end of the film was not unexpected. That is, “this is a turn!” well, it will not be possible to say, because everyone who already has experience in solving the plot 5 minutes before the “fint” will already guess what will end.
There's only one storyline. No intrigue. Mysteries too. And this is based on the work of the Polish underground during the war?!

So, the plot is straight as a meter of sausage: there is an underground, it executes. All! Honestly, everyone!
Drama? Yeah, there, for a few minutes: the acquaintance of Smugly and Kristina. I don’t see any drama anywhere else.
Detective? He's not. There is nothing investigated, there are no mysteries, no reflections. Swarthy and Nurek get orders and that’s all, they just follow them.
This film is not comparable to “Night of the Generals”. Pay attention to the years of release of “Night...” and “Strictly by order.” The last came out after 14 years, but in the “Night...” there is a drama (and what else!), and a detective (a real detective, although not an action-packed one), and a thriller even exists.
And Strictly by Order reminds me of a historical costume production: someone does something, goes somewhere, waits for someone. Like a documentary review.
The film will interest those interested in this period of Polish history. I doubt that others who expect an interesting plot and denouement will be delighted.
