Seduction. We can safely say that cinema today is not only one of the most popular types of business, but also a real object of art. At least ideally. That pushes a considerable number of representatives of “gifted youth” to try themselves in this work. So the next director debutant was someone Kim Hyun Chun, about whom it is known only that he has completed higher education in the profession of film and television director, as well as a distant relationship with the famous Korean director Kim Ji-un. This can tell you a lot about a certain person. But I personally believe that the director can be clearly judged only by his paintings, and this directorial debut of Kim Hyun Chun was definitely successful. When I downloaded and read the reviews for this tape, I certainly expected a much stronger film, but nevertheless, the work I saw on the screen also left a very pleasant impression. Except that I was a little surprised and surprised by the duality of the picture.
Obviously, this is the case when the director tries to bring his own vision of the project to the film, but is forced to play into the hands of the viewer. That is why this film is simply impossible to call a tough and principled thriller. More like a comedy thriller. Since the whole film turned out not even with a genre presentation. In some places, he is too serious for a thriller. What goes with everything. Starting with the mood of the tape and ending with background music. In some places, the film so completely acquires mystery, tension and becomes a form thriller. These two genres are absolutely incompatible and it is due to this that a strange sensation is created when viewing. The docking of the two genres turned out to be a little weak, but nevertheless, each genre is brought to its absolute brilliance.
Watching the comedic moments of the tape without unnecessary self-irony is simply impossible. As for purely thriller moments, they are filmed famously and with the correct use of blood. And from the point of view of the spectacle, all scenes look very famous. A considerable number of murders, fights and chases look really dynamic, tense and intense. Just like the movie itself. That's just a spoonful of tar in the picture brings the above-mentioned Achilles heel of the picture, which sometimes creates the feeling that shorten the film by half an hour, it would turn out simply magnificent. And fans of erotic thrillers will be pleasantly surprised by a considerable number of bed scenes and scenes with nude actresses, which turned out to be very passionate, energetic, beautiful and erotic.
Despite the fact that there is a crime in history, the film explores the theme of adultery. This becomes the central moral of this film. What makes a man cheat on his wife or wife? A desire for diversity in sex? Your own insecurity? Do you not think that this is just a test of whether you are worthy of the person next to you? Nothing more. Eve’s temptation to the apple of Eden, to which she succumbed and was thrown to Earth. The very interweaving of the fact of treason with a double murder, which threatens the main character with a prison term, is only a kind of allegory. That not always the act of cheating can go according to plan and settle down better until it smells fried. They say, let’s cross the boundaries, exaggerate everything and try to scare the wrong viewer so that he at least thought about his actions.
The intentions are very noble and given the considerable success of the picture at home, the message found its viewer unequivocally. It is also funny that morality itself is held exclusively around comic or few serious moments of the tape. When exactly the thriller component of the tape is set in the best traditions of detective films. The creators at the very beginning gave a very powerful secret, which as an intrigue and plot twisted along the way so much that closer to the end it was difficult to predict how the film will end. Of course, we can say that the creators in places simply overwired and loaded the already twisted story, but it was worth it.
At the beginning of watching the tape, I personally did not like the lead actor Pak Hae-sung. His appearance is painfully slippery and disgusting. But by the middle of the tape, you realize that the creators of the tape made the right choice. Since his character is incredibly nasty, slippery and not true type, who just played with bright colors combined with the appearance of Park Hae-sung. Especially since he played it beautifully.
I was very impressed with [b] Pak Shi Young. The girl is simply extraterrestrial beauty, which was shown both secretly and in quite frank scenes with her nudity on the screen, which showed the viewer her luxurious body and delighted the eyes of the whole film. And from the point of view of the game, it turned out to be so natural, as if Shi Yong played herself real in life. The rest of the actors were given quite secondary and largely comedic roles, which were performed simply magnificently. One can only highlight Yun Jae, who got a very small, but still noticeable role. Largely because of her exposure on the screen and the issuance of perhaps the brightest scene of the tape with her participation.
The music for the picture was created by a young composer Kim Sun Min. Lack of experience she beat in a rather traditional sound, which she beat in a rather interesting arrangement. In many ways, the attractiveness of music is that it simultaneously sets both incredibly fervent and ideal for comedy music, and a rather hard and tense sound ideal for a thriller.
7 out of 10
Quite tense, intriguing, mysterious, funny and ironic comedy thriller with a rather relevant morality. I loved it and I would highly recommend this film to you. That's just in the company of a jealous second half to watch the film is not recommended. From sin to sin, as they say.
