Dofus is a spin-off of one of the most popular French animated series, Waqfu. For 52 episodes, we get acquainted with various stories from the life of Kerubim, an incredibly lucky ekaflip. This character is endlessly charismatic and, most importantly, is someone you want to look up to in different life situations. A lot happened in his life - love, friendship, rivalry, enmity and a huge variety of adventures. There is something, and in a variety of cartoons can not deny. For his long life, Mr. Krepin was anything but an Indian Jones, a singer, a dancer, a lawyer, an avid player, a pirate, or whatever, eventually becoming the owner of a shop with magical artifacts. In his old age, he lives in Astruba with his son Jojo (aka Joris from Waqfu), whom he likes to poison stories about his past and with the maid Simone, who cleans the house and along the way digs up various magical things in the bins. That, in short, is the essence of the cartoon. Such an interesting idea is worth quite a bit without proper implementation. And that's exactly what's going on here.

First of all, , the movie is good for the eye. Wonderful drawing, smooth animation and bright, cheerful palette are good to lift the mood. Secondly, this is a voiceover. The French language is melodic, besides, the voices are properly selected, all the actors are in their seats, there are no under/overplays. Well, third, this is the plot component and the disclosure of characters. From the first series, the naked eye can see that the cartoon was created with love and soul. In the plots there is no trampling in place, each series is a full-fledged story with a twist, climax and finale. Kerubim is not shown to be a positive character, but rather a living, human one. That is, in different situations, the strengths and weaknesses of his personality are manifested, you truly empathize with him both in bright and tragic moments. The others didn't, either. Thanks to the side characters, the world of the Twelve feels a living, original place. And here it is worth mentioning the main advantage of the cartoon is the atmosphere. He absolutely does not load the viewer with deep thoughts, but the combination of a fascinating story, well-written interaction between the characters, witty humor and a lot of references to our reality do their job. Each series leaves a warm, pleasant aftertaste.
To some, the series may show too childish or boring, however, it is a matter of taste. It can brighten up several winter evenings and cheer up. I am sure that this charming cat will find a place in your heart. Thank you all for listening.

I was guided to Kerub’s Treasures by the movie Dofus Book One: Julith, which I really liked and which is one of my favorites. Despite the fact that the characters in these two fandoms are the same (at least the main ones), and the atmosphere is also saturated with magic and magic, the film caused me a lot of positive emotions and great sympathy, and the series – a headache and irritation. And here's why:

1. Idea. The whole series is built on the fascinating stories of Kerub - an elderly adventurer who has accumulated a whole shop of trophies from his campaigns. Each episode is a story that Kerub is asked to tell when one or another thing from the old man's shop pops up in the plot. Of course, he does not refuse and begins to broadcast about the history of this or that thing. And although these stories themselves are quite attractive and can cause a smile, their fragmentation and incoherence, as well as the position of the “main component of the series” begin to irritate and soon become very annoying. If you remember how much bodily humor is shown in these stories, then you can generally feel vomiting.
2. Animation. Despite the fact that the animation of the TV series “Treasures of Kerub” and similar to the movie “Doughus”, there are much less details, and the characters look too flat, “animous”, and no emotions on their faces (even the most obvious) do not look convincing, which also adds a contribution to the treasury of disappointment.
3. Moral. In fact, she's completely absent. The main character (Kerub) is allowed everything and all his actions are justified. Also, we must not forget that this daredevil at the side constantly has a giant help in the form of a helper-demigod, who in any difficult situation can be pleased to come to the rescue. Thus, the series should not be allowed to watch children without parental support. It is better not to give at all.

As a result, “Treasures of Kerub” is a collection of fifty short incoherent stories without a plot, without morality, but with rude humor and a rather primitive drawing. It cannot be recommended with a clear conscience to either adults or (especially) children.

Before watching this series, I was not familiar with French animation (Suicide Shop does not count) and, I must say, was rather skeptical of it. But I fell in love with it without memory from the very first frame.
Animation. Immediately attracts attention: a static background worked out to the smallest detail and a simple and lively performance of the characters. To a pile, in some series, the drawing is strong and changes to the place, which, again, makes you stick to the monitor.
Plot. Almost the entire series is a retrospective: the old grandfather-ekaflip poisons stories about past adventures. Especially amusing is how Kerub uses valuable artifacts he has inherited.

Peace. Most of all, I love the worlds where you are thrown with your head and... explain nothing. You have to look at the details; the answers to the questions that have arisen “who...” / “what...” pop up only after a couple of episodes.

Well, what else to say... the world is very elaborate. For those who want to understand it in more detail, there is a “WakFu”.
Execution. As a person who has managed to review a bunch of famous cartoons / films, I am happy to puppy screech the abundance of Easter eggs (only some of them: parodies on Scooby-Doo, Chinese action films, RPG games...).
P.S. For those who have watched “Doughus: Treasures of Kerub”, I completely advise you to watch another 1 episode. You'll see characters you don't pay attention to first.

The movie came out completely by accident. It was watched by my brother, who saw this cartoon on the channel Multimania. To be honest, I was skeptical of this cartoon, not even wanting to delve into it. But my brother was watching this cartoon all the time while I was sitting at the computer. Willy-nilly, I became myself without noticing that I was drawn into the atmosphere of the cartoon, especially attracted by the race of cats (ekaflip) I will describe only three of my favorite characters.

Kerubim Krepin is also my favorite character. A true adventurer, savvy and lucky ecaflip. A favorite of the god Ekaflip. Kerubim has many sides, he is interesting as a character. Throughout the series, these sides are revealed. He is a gambler in cards, and luck only leaves him a couple of times. It was very interesting to look at Kerubim, at his actions when he lost to Baron to underpants. By the way, Kerub is half god, and in fact immortal.
God Ekaflip - I love the series where this mischievous god appears. This positive smile to the ears, thick belly and a pleasant pink color. Kerubim becomes a favorite of God, and the latter does everything to keep the young fidget close. As a result, after releasing his pet from the temple, Ekaflip sometimes continues to visit Ke-Ke and help him.
Indy Del Graventure - I also like that character. The rivalry with Kerubim always amused them. I was waiting for a series where he would appear along with the expectation of the god Ekaflip. Especially like the series “Charovars Kerub” and “Ding-don belt” was also interesting to listen to the alternative side of the stories. (Where the old Indy told his granddaughter a story.) But still, every time in their peculiar skirmishes, I am on the side of Kerubim.
