Poses, Baikal and Genghis Khan are the 3 things that are mainly associated with Buryatia among its residents. But if there was already a movie about Baikal and Genghis Khan, then there are no postures yet, especially in Ulan-Ude, a project of a monument to the buuse is even being developed.
The payback of the film was guaranteed by the loud name of the dish beloved by all residents of the republic. Moreover, the premiere of the film was timed to coincide with a local national holiday, in which I personally saw only a minus. Everyone knows that movies dedicated to something meaningful, bring great profits, but in rare cases are worthy.
The plot of the film is banal: a classic success story, through all the difficulties - to achieve the goal. In this case, the young guy is to open a profit-making posture in order to obtain his blessing from the father of his beloved.
Fantasticly received a loan, the young man and his friend open their own business, but meet with a mountain of problems and troubles associated, as a rule, with crime and corruption. And there are so many problems that you really begin to empathize with the main character and wonder how he will cope with it. This is the main disappointment in the film. This moment is simply missed, we will not see how the main character achieves the success shown at the beginning of the film. It feels like the creators have put so many problems on the hero that they themselves could not figure out how to get out of it. Or it’s a message that it’s impossible to start a business without money, big connections and promoting corruption, as is the case in the republic. Good intentions are not enough.
The film is positioned as a comedy, but I laughed for the film only once and smiled three times. Many jokes are borrowed from other films, involuntarily thinking “Somewhere I’ve seen this before...” For the storyline about the Patriots of Buryatia, you can safely add a point, as well as for the difficulties that a novice entrepreneur will have to face. The acting leaves much to be desired, there is no love line, although the film has a good camera job. The subject of cool cars is solved. In addition, this film can be safely watched by people who are not familiar with the republic and boozes, because the film describes in detail what it is and what it is eaten with. It is up to you to watch or not to watch.
