In the best traditions of the genre. Eva Gonzalez (Blanca Soto) and her father and sister arrive in Los Angeles. The father dies as a result of a car accident - he is hit by Leonardo Arismendi (Julian Gil), who took his friend Daniel's car for a ride. After a while, Eva gets a job as a nurse in the house of Arismendi. Leonardo's son makes a bet with his friend Daniel (Guy Ecker) that he will seduce Eve. Only here Daniel also likes Eva, but there is a problem - the bride Victoria, Leonardo's sister. But for true love, as you know, there are no barriers. To separate Eve and Daniel, Leonardo blames Daniel for the death of Eve’s father and proves it with a car. Without an explanation with Daniel, Eva leaves the house of Arismendi, unaware that one day she will return as a mistress.
I didn't like the screensaver, the title song, and the totally stupid Alicia. That’s all I didn’t like about Eve Luna. The rest is just the pluses. Good story, not prolonged, quite dynamic. It looks easy. The main character I like this - kind, honest, decent, but with character: if necessary, then the voice will raise, and sulk, and slap on the face. Ecker and Soto made a great couple. A love story is interesting and well played.
The main villain Marcela (Susanna Dosamantes) is an excellent villain, just to the bone, without morality, without heart, without pity, greedy, insidious, cunning and intelligent. And daughter Victoria, although not native blood, but no better.
The costumers did a good job, with one exception - Victoria's dresses. The figure of her, of course, enviable, but to almost the entire series to be held in dresses of the same cut - super-fit and mega-short - it is not interesting, even married Daniel came out in almost negligee. I remember Eve’s wedding dress with a train half the length of the church.
I will celebrate the good performance of all the actors - I did not find anyone to complain about. For the first time I saw Blanca Soto in telenovela, it turns out, this is the debut role, but immediately the main one. I pay tribute to Blanca, she did great. The child actors who played Laurita and Adrian are great! In Latin American TV series, by the way, children always play very well.
A personal “thank you” to Francisco (Harry Geithner) – the whole series was fun. It was curious how Marisol and Francisco would expose each other, and the exposure was right! I loved the story with Don Julio. Characters are thought out to the smallest detail - both actions and motives are clear.
The series is very interesting and beautiful.
