"Education of Kindness" If there are exemplary modern children’s films in Russia that you would like to show to your children? I doubt it. But such films are definitely made by the Netherlands and Germany. "Classy Kees" is a perfect example of this.
The plot is based on a simple story about how a new intern, a young and almost clumsy eccentric Brian Keyes, comes to the class. Brian himself is still a child who has just entered the serious world of adults, and seemingly, what can he teach? He turns the established order of conducting classes on its head and makes each lesson an exciting adventure. Which is why the head of the school is angry:
Kees, we have a school here, we have a curriculum, we are not here to have fun. Do you really think you can become a teacher?
They want the impossible to change themselves. But Kees remains as “cool”, because he can not be strict with his characteristic softness and good-naturedness. “Lessons of kindness” bring him closer to the children, and he becomes not only a real teacher, but also a devoted friend.
