But soon the Germans invade France and a series of difficult trials falls on two girls who love each other. On the share of Noyabrina in this picture fall very difficult trials, the director masterfully showed the tragedy of the situation of a girl of Jewish origin, all the bitterness of the trials that fell on her shoulders.

Alexandra von Grout managed a powerful drama on a difficult topic, the theme of same-sex love against the background of the war. The director brilliantly managed to show a characteristic picture of the life of two lesbians, all their depth of feelings she conveyed very skillfully and with great and deep realism. They will love each other until the end of the picture, despite all the hardships and hardships that will fall on them. Looking at the two girls, you willfully or unwittingly empathize with them. Particularly painful feeling is caused by the latest footage, when Ferial falls into the hands of angry citizens who consider her an accomplice of the occupation regime.
The picture with a bias in art house, of course, will not have all categories of viewers to taste, the movie in its perception turned out to be difficult, in many respects this is due to the delicate and difficult topic chosen by the director. Not everyone will agree with the actions and actions of the heroes of this interesting and ambiguous picture.
