Benefits of one man Indeed, this is a benefit of Alexander Astier. He acted in the lead role, as well as a director, screenwriter, producer, editor and even composer! Cool. The problem with the movie is that it looks very boring. It is not diluted with any interesting details and the language of symbols does not work, there are no memories and even the relationships of the characters (usually the strength of French cinema) are sluggish and ambiguous.
I could give this film a very low rating, but still the ending is interesting, there everything falls into place. It’s a pity that while you wait for the end of the movie (or, let’s say, the last quarter of the picture), you think twenty times: can you turn it off?
The main character first captivates with his inadequacy, and then disappoints, as no continuation and explanation should not.
But it is clear that the film was made if not with love, then enthusiastically, the director wanted to say something... to draw a certain panorama of actions and feelings, but it turned out very gray. If you get carried away with the plot and if you have nothing to do, it is likely that the movie will seem interesting. But if you don’t have much time to watch movies and you really appreciate it, you will regret watching. In general, due to the originality:
7 out of 10
It's a stretch, though.
