Stories for sleep A crazy maniac kidnaps a girl and, threatening her with reprisal, reports that he cannot sleep until he is told horror stories. Since the guy has not slept for a long time, he hopes that the “fairy tales” will be told to him by his victim, and that there is nothing left but to begin the narrative.
Here’s the plot of a film that again combines several stories that are not related to each other. Although, rather, there is a connection - the same kidnapped girl that we had the pleasure of meeting in the beginning. Since all the novels are so fragmented that no parallel can be drawn between them at all, we will briefly run through each of them.
The first one is about brother and sister Sunny and Moon, who are left alone at home to wait for their mother to work late. A courier should come home to them - bring a parcel, but the mother strictly forbade opening it to his children, however, as is usually the case with children, taking the box from the doorstep, they forget to check whether they closed the door tightly, as a result of which a criminal breaks into their house ... What I want to point out here is that it’s a long start. Probably too long. The catch-up with the maniac does not take much time, here we take morality (the event that pushed the “gray wolf” to murder), and all the rest of the time the children watch something, talk about something, walk somewhere... Nothing so special, although it should be noted that the message seems good. In short, it is a fairy tale in Africa.
The second story concerns the serial maniac and his flight aboard the plane, where his last victim worked as a flight attendant. This novel looks interesting - events are developing cheerfully, although heart-wrenching revelations here do not have to wait - just watch as a pretty young girl runs away from no less handsome maniac. All the means that can be obtained on board the aircraft are used - it is clear that in such a place it is difficult to find objects for self-defense, which, nevertheless, looks even more fascinating. At least, this creation is definitely not bored - neither the actors nor the viewer.
The third story is a tangled tangle of events that the creators could barely unravel by the end. Two sisters – Gonji and Pekji – are fascinated by the rich and beautiful Min, and, apparently, because of his condition. Since Minu fell in love with Gonji, Pekji took a risky step - she had plastic surgery to look like her sister. In a mind-boggling way, Minu doesn’t care who to marry, and when the girls’ mother informs him that Gonji can’t be a couple, he easily agrees to Pekji. Wonders, frankly. Let the viewer explain why his love so quickly moved in the direction of another girl, it still looks too wild and implausible. On the other hand, if we consider that this is again a fairy tale, then a lot becomes clear, such as that it is not worth asking questions here.
Well, the last story will plunge the viewer into the familiar theme of zombies. An ambulance rescues a mother and an injured girl from the epicenter of the infection. Before the doctor, nurse and driver of the car is a difficult question: take the child to the hospital to help him, or throw him out of the car, as he may be infected. And the struggle begins not for life, but for death: the doctor insists that the mother and child be thrown out; the nurse intercedes, assuring that the girl should be helped; and the driver simply turns the steering wheel. By the way, this is the most boring of all the novels presented - the more so that this is a story about zombies, and you need to be able to submit this topic correctly. The Koreans definitely miscalculated this.
I won’t say that this is the worst horror anthology I’ve ever seen, but, in my opinion, they didn’t try too hard here – they tried to give a sensible message, and the plots were not bad, and the actors played their roles tolerably ... and still raw somehow. I can’t figure out what the film really lacks, but it seems that the film went in the wrong direction from the beginning. The only thing that I remember is the beginning and the maniac, who cannot fall asleep without horror stories with his very smart captive. Here would give this story in more detail, so I would like to plunge deeper into it, and everything else - so... just fairy tales
