“There is no place for us in this small city. . ? Few people are familiar with Israeli cinema, with young Israeli filmmakers and actors. Or maybe there is nothing to get acquainted with: the country is young, with a fragile world, but with a great desire to develop.
The film "2 Night" (which is consonant with tonight-tonight night), was presented last year, as part of the second International Odessa Film Festival. And perhaps this is one of the films that is really well remembered for its originality and “dissimilarity”. There was even a desire to reconsider. Another thing is that it is absolutely impossible to find both in free access and on disk.
The story that Roy Werner wants to tell us is very ambiguous, it can be called absurd, in some ways “sucked out” of a finger, but this is only at first glance. After all, the story is not about two who at night could not find a place in the parking lot, the story about the total mass, about the mass that can not find themselves in the metropolis. Life sets its conditions for modern man and on the example of these two we can at least a little, but understand how this generation lives, what they want, how they achieve it, what they live and breathe.
The monologues and dialogues of the characters are funny, not without sarcasm, self-irony. These two are youthful, risky, full of desire to love and be loved. And even if the heroes did not find a free place, but the night spent in conversations will surely be remembered by each of them.
Search night.
